Its been a year since you uploaded this, but i want you to know when I'm on patrol and no calls are coming in, i sit somewhere quiet and just watch this play through over and over. Its one of my favorite series. I still play DEI to this day but i just cant replicate the intensity and the enjoyment i get from watching you play which makes me laugh, but you did amazing with this series, i hope you decide to return to it and make a second playthrough!
@szczypien I honestly rarely ever use it. The ability has a very miniscule effect and I prefer to use my micro to exact greater influence in the outcome. This means I often do not micro my phalanx units, I just trust them to do what they do best, survive and soak up the brunt of the enemy attack.
@TomTomXIV if you mouse over the terrain you get a little icon that tells you the terrain type. You can exactly know the terrain map but at least you will get a hunch of what the terrain will be like and choose to engage or avoid.
@@kauaiaguya it has nothing to do with sympathizing with Rome. The Roman roster from a campaign perspective is not only the largest most diverse but also the most effective and cost friendly.

@@Santro-Maximus Hi Santro, these things don't have a time set in stone. Since it is mostly done by people in their free time. But regardless for the most part DEI beta packs don't cause incompatibility issues when integrated into the main mod. So if you play with 1.3.4 public beta most likely you will be able to transition into the update version when it eventually releases.
I almost use the same mods as you do, but when i fight the ai almost every battle some of the ai troops get stuck under ground, do you know the problem of this?
Very enjoyable episode, lots of fighting, lots of progress. I would like to see you incorporate more Mauryan and Baktrian forces into your armies, even if they might not be the optimal choice. Looking into the future, do you have an idea about your next DeI campaign already?
DEI is meant to be played on Normal, any higher and the AI is nearly impossible. If you want a harder experience get the sub mod to make it harder lol.

Anyway, I know that you are very savvy with DeI and it is the focus of your channel, but is there any chance you could give Third Age Total War: Divide and Conquer a shot? Don't know if you are a Tolkien fan, but given that you seem to be Christian I'm sure the man's works speak to you at a deeper level, and your style of playing TW would definetly elevate the whole experience. Well, keep up the amazing work!
@SouthernRex-1994 I would if I had the time. But honestly, it's too much effort at the moment to get all the required stuff and then learn the game and then play it. I do like myself some Tolkein, but not because I'm Christian. Christianity is unique ain't any work of man competing with it not even close.
Well I hope you’ll at least kill Maurya perhaps at the end of the campaign. They were such a menace for the Seleucids after all a shame to see them live.
Informative as always. Have you ever played a campaign as Syracuse? Their thorax swordsmen are amazing, being equal in armour and melee stats to Marian praetorians.
@@cerdic6586 yes I have played a campaign as them. I find the RotR Syracuse interesting roster wise. Although this Syracuse is also interesting with a decent roster.
While I think they're more interesting in the other two campaigns, GC Syracuse is pretty cool. A greek faction that has good swords even before reforms and the gastraphetes have to be mentioned as well.
@@cerdic6586 It isn't great, but it doesn't have to be since your neighbors aren't great at cav either. It didn't really hinder me at all from defeating everyone in the western Mediterranean in my Syracuse campaign.
@@vergilroth How did you conquer the western Mediterranean? I reset my Syracuse campaign about a dozen times because Rome and Carthage swarmed me. Then, in my last reset, I decided to migrate to Hellas and begin anew from there, which proved to be quite successful.
Hey Summary, Sorry to ask you this here, I just bought a new laptop and whenever I try to change Rome 2's graphics settings the game bugs out and shows a black screen with the cursor frozen. Do you know any solution to this ? And thank you for the video as always!!!
Hi bruh maybe try to run your game in windowed mode. That's all I can help with. I am not sure about why this is. Hopefully this helps. Most welcome for the video btw.
Macedon generals doesn't have the thessalian cavalry modifier :c Anyway this video is going to be super useful since I was planning an Arverni campaing
Nice glad I could help. yea it is a bit weird that Macedonian generals do not have the best cavalry in the realm. Post it in the Divide Et Impera battle units feedback!
Hey summary do you know why after loading more then 35 mods some unit and character textures go missing? And do you know why my game crashes when i try to give factions settlements using esf? Thanks and love the videos as always!
@@hansthetigertank7520 also to give factions via esf I haven't don't that ever. I either use the timbe trade regions submod or there is a submod with a script that can be used.

@harrycook3056 it is their resources and yes hard coded as well. Basically the economic guide of toxborg which is model on my guide explains this in further detail.
