Thanks Anne. He certainly is my hero & I hope to interview a lot more tho his memory wanes at times. I want to get his stories out there for anyone else to hear. I grew up hearing so many stories, met other family members who survived. He lived thru a horrid time of WW2 & is a true Survivor! 🙏

I keep my eyes open for Cameron here in San Diego County as I know there was a possible sighting in the past few years at a 7-11 not far from Los Posada men’s shelter in Carlsbad. I haven’t heard anything more about it but we did get word to his family and his brother was going to the shelter to check into it. I still keep my eyes open as that made me realize that he may have returned home to So Calif. When someone is missing we must keep our eyes open everywhere. Continuing to watch & pray for Cameron, Sean Sidi and so many others who are missing. 🙏🏼
I pray his family gets answers! He sounds like a good man and needed help with his head injuries and mental illness. Idk what is like to be missing a son but I am a mother of sons and I am touched by Cameron's story!
Anything further on this case? I've been following it on and off since he was first reported missing. I am the retired (after 27 years) search and rescue team coordinator for my former county in California. Unfortunately, I worked many cases like this with negative results. There's very little hope Sean is still alive, but there is evidence out there of where he was, so keep looking.
@@annegavin9358 I'm sorry to hear that. I retired in 2005 so I wasn't actively working those cases. My impression from being outside looking in this time is there was some kind of ring, or even just one person, who was kidnapping these young men for purposes best left unsaid now. There are too many aspects of the cases that are similar for it to be mere coincidence. San Francisco has a long history of young people just vanishing. I hope some evidence turns up soon.
Sar Jim we will never give up hope of learning what happened to them all. Thank you for all you did in your career. While we know these boys didn’t know one another, some of the circumstances are similar as we see it.
@@annegavin9358 Thanks. I agree. I don't know what happened but my experience tells me there was a relationship to these boys all vanishing over a three year period. Whoever was doing this either ended up with a long prison term for another crime or died. It might be worthwhile, assuming it hasn't already been done , to research all the parolees and RSOs that lived in the city during that three year period to see if there are any leads there. Even though these are cold cases, all it takes is one break to turn things around. Getting the manpower to do the work is always the problem though.
Thanks, yes, getting SFPD to assist has been extremely challenging, then there’s the issue of shady groups claiming to want to help. Thanks re advice & interest. We would do anything to bring these boys home.
I am sooo sad to hear of her disappearance. Lisa was a truly memorable friend to me over 30 years ago. She and I laughed like hyenas. I will pray for her and her family. She is and will always be in my heart.
