Isn’t fly fishing at deeper spots similar to free spooling a jig and getting bit on the fall or retrieve. Or is the presentation different with the fly fishing tackle
Erik landesfiend and jimmy decker fish the crank bait and giant slugs religiously am sure they got giants on the crank but I agree with Luke steak and potatoes probably higher percentage. Also those guys would be great guests one day lol
@@TobyNguyen5 that is one way to avoid the kelp. There are lanes that you can cast down to avoid it. You can also fish weedless which helps to get the bait up, around, or through the help. However, catching help is part of the frustration. It happens

@@BigBlueWorld_fishing honestly it’s pretty powerful. I have no complaints. I am equally scared it will call in too. I’ll probably get a tether line and a waterproof case just incase I hit it. It’s pretty out of the way, and it’s pretty secure.

@@Axel-we5lw kayak wise, I don’t think you need much. If you are out at night, then you need lights. You need a life vest in the kayak but you don’t need to wear it if you are 18+ I believe.
