Thanks for the question. Watamula is not a recommended shore dive because of constantingly changing currents. We advise boat diving for safety reasons. Additionally, boat diving will allow you to maximize your dive time to see the best parts of this site with comfort. Thank you again for the question.
Loved this dive. But be careful with penetrating the hull! My BC hose got stuck while penetrating the wreck, I went through some archway. Luckily my training kicked in. But all the glory goes to Yahusha Ha'Mashiach. Amen ❤

A few years ago I dived it from shore with the Dive Bus and from boat with Ocean Explorers. Both give you time to explore the wreck. However from shore you can spend your time on the reef during your safety stop.

Hi Jennifer, of course you can see them snorkeling. They are in the shallows mostly and in groups of 2 or more. From the surface it is difficult to see them though because of their natural camouflaged colouring.

Hi Bryce, thanks for the comment and the interest in diving this site. The best and easiest way to access this site is by boat - either a drop and dive or a moored dive via Ocean Encounters at LionsDive Beach Resort. Shore access is also possible via Ocean Encounters too. My advice is to consult the dive shop to make a plan - largely the options will depend on sea conditions and currents of the day.
