I believe that Selena's Uncle moved in the middle house (the 2 story). I think Selena briefly stayed there with them in her teens maybe, her sister Suzette too. Selena's uncle did some renovations "unique" renovations. The whole neighborhood looked much nicer when Selena lived there and right after she passed. The neighborhood is called La Molina but the section where Selena and her family stayed in is called Southbridge. It was added to La Molina in and around 1983. Suzette's house was right across from Selena the corner if I'm not mistaken but she rarely get's mentioned. Somebody said her father moved because fans wouldn't let him sleep. I believe it, It was the obvious thing to do but they're still in Corpus. May God Bless their family.

I was born around the 2000’s and I remember hearing her music on the radio but I never pictured her I didn’t know her but I thought at 6y old, “Wow she sounds amazing” I only got introduced to Selena by my Sister 2-3 years later, I remember asking my sister “Selena Gomez?!” She told me “No silly! Selena” and I asked her who was Selena and she immediately played Como la Flor video in the Houston Astredome (idk how to spell 💀) and I go “I HEARD THAT SOMG ON THE RADIO!!” She was impressed but then I asked, “What if we can meet her??” My sister stared to cry “ No it will never be possible, she’s… dead.” (She all announced this in Mexico) I look at her in disbelief and wine to her “What?!?! not possible she’s too pretty, talented, and looks kind.” She answered “I know”. Ever since that moment I saw Selena in that video I continued my journey in knowing more abt Selena and her music I soon found out so much it would make me sad, but by knowing so much I ended up in Corpus Christi in her museum, statue, and grave site. It was sad for me but all Ik is that museum, statue, and grave site will be the only thing I will get to in knowing her never meeting her. She was the type that was kind,beautiful,amazing,talented, and much more. All I want to say is I love y’all take care thank you for reading my story and if It doesn’t make sense some part tell me!

I'm from Corpus Christi & still live there...she lived in the neighborhood my grandparents live on in Molina her house is a about 2 blocks away...i used to pass by her house everyday when i went to school at West Oso in the early 2000s....my mom went to Jr high with her too.... it's crazy how till this day people still idolize her even after 29 years... she's been dead longer than she's been alive... she's made good hits but she's human like everyone else..theirs literally nothing special about her smh

Yolanda got fired when she stole money from her fans when they bought her shirts. Yolanda was transferring the money to her bank account from her boutiques, but the thing is Yolanda built a crazy obsession with Selena and always felt like she needed to be close to her. When she got fired, she was like, “Oh shit, I can’t be near her anymore so I have to murder her for firing me and removing me away from Selena” But Yolanda was suicidal, that’s why she had the gun and was trying to commit suicide in that hotel, she put the gun to her head and Selena was trying to tell her not to do such a thing to herself. Selena said, “let me close the door” but Yolanda said many times, don’t close the door and when she was about to close the door to keep out privacy because the door was open. Selena, approached the door and about to close the door, Yolanda said again, “don’t close the door” and as soon as she said ‘door’, she shot the firearm, the bullet going through her back, to her shoulder. The thing is, this backstory came from Yolanda, which not a lot of people believe but the real reason I think is she intentionally and purposely tried backstabbing her, shooting her over her obsession and her being fired. It’s also said that Yolanda had a bunch of pictures of Selena in her own house, which is proof that she had some hidden like with Selena, even Selena’s father noticed these things with Yolanda and her weird obsession with her, she tried to even keep Selena away from her fans. Yolanda is just guilty for all these years, she killed her on purpose. It was no accident, Selena trusted Yolanda so much that she always wore the ‘egg’ ring Yolanda gave to her but in the end, she trusted the wrong person and it killed Selena. Next year in 2025, Yolanda wants to make a parole trying to get out of prison for at least 30 years. If she decides to have a freedom, and have the audacity to live in Corpus Christi, she needs to watch her back because I feel like most likely she would get assassinated
The you so much for sharing this with all of us who can't make it to Corpus Christi . I'm reminded of the amazing sense of fashion that Selena always had . She was so tiny . My gosh it was amazing to see her perform in a lot of the clothing . I think my favorite will always the purple one she wore at Houston Astrodome concert . Selena is a legend and always will be. I really believe she would've been bigger then Madonna .
No, one is in heaven at this time, the book and judgement has not come. No, one has been before throne yet. Why do you keep bringing her passing up. Let people die go.
My first trip to Corpus Christi, I went to see her museum, her grave, and her statue, I remember feeling sad when I went to her grave, like I didn’t want to leave, I was born three years after she died, since I saw the movie, and heard the Anthology album, I became a fan, and have always wanted to meet her, and I felt that was as close as I was ever going to get😢
