It’s all love from me man. I’ve been watching and enjoying your stuff for 6 years. I appreciate you making two movies just for weird fans like me to enjoy. Good or bad, I love them, and that’s what matters. Appreciate the comment!
@@Defnotaraccoon yes, but eating ice cream with a fork is definitely part of the act. I’ve seen someone doing it on TikTok but it’s impossible that everything he does is so weird. But yes, part of his weirdness is definitely genuine, but I don’t think that all of it is
@Defnotaraccoon yeah I opened one of those but I never ended up getting one, I got mine when I opened the big box with 24 packs. I think you get 3 per box
Well, you certainly put them to good use. Great haul! I also appreciate seeing the Gilliam love. Feel like he's not been getting due credit as of late.
BARBENHEIMER babbbyyyy. good time. would recommend. FULL REVIEWS BARBIE I did not expect to enjoy the emotional journey of a Ken doll, but here I am. Gerwig delivers such a fun and visually stunning film that you might overlook some of the story mishaps and emotional beats not quite landing perfectly. Although the commentary is directly stated by the characters within the film, the themes and message still stand strong. Gerwig understands perfectly how to use parody and fun to deliver a solid experience. Would definitely recommend Now, about that Oppenheimer film... OPPENHEIMER Heralded as Nolan's masterpiece, Oppenheimer does not deliver the same quality in narrative as it does experience. However, the narrative and experience are both still top of class. The third act of Oppenheimer is much slower than the first two, and will likely leave most people wondering if the best parts of the film are behind them - and they would be right. But the performances are strong enough to carry the audience through, and Nolan's use of sound and visuals continues to excel in that section. Nolan also struggles to humanize Oppenheimer with the world around him. There is an attempt in the second hour of the film to put Oppenheimer through a tragic loss, but by the end of the film, the scene has not left the character with any mentionable impact. The scene and other character could seemingly be cut, and Oppenheimer's story would play out relatively the same. These criticisms should not make it sound like I disliked the film. I very much enjoyed it, but Nolan has often struggled with the humanity and emotional cores of his characters, and Oppenheimer is no different. Nolan does try but most viewers will come out of the film remembering the drama, the trauma, and the bomb(a). Nolan still paces most of the film incredibly well and makes a historic event seem like a roll of the dice. I was 100% certain on how the main conflict of the film would resolve, yet there I was glued to the screen worrying about how much uranium they needed and how much time was left. The whole time I was enjoying the gorgeous visuals, excellent sound work, and the performances from every single person. No one stands out, there were all stellar. An absolute must see in IMAX. The Trinity test alone is worth the price of admission, and I see myself going back in just to experience it again. Day one pick up for the 4K once it releases. #barbenheimer #barbie #oppenheimer #gretagerwig #gerwig #christophernolan #nolan #margotrobbie #cillianmurphy #film #review #vlog
I don't know if you know this if a title you want isn't there for me it was Crumb, I ordered it and as long as it shows up before end of sale it's half off 🎉
Hmmm. 🤔 I dunno, You seem [x] mostly normal to me. 😋 I hope to be getting to BN soon as I have a stack of giftcards I've purchased the past few years specifically for these sales but I have yet to redeem any of them. Easily $200+ by now. I just have to gather them up. 🤑
Great picks. If I had an opportunity to browse the B&N sales I would definitely get "Seven Samurai" and "High and Low". Possibly WALL-E as well. So kudos!
Your alternative choices are also really great. As for the "Godzilla" - it is not released in the standard case (as far as I know), but I know some people did custom covers and put the movies in regular boxes.
@@rsienicki thanks for the comment! that’s likely what I saw then. I looked around after I published this video and couldn’t find any official, standard release. Not sure why criterion would only do the big display release and not have a standard option. I’d even be okay with the same price! (I’d buy it half off anyways)
Great pickups! I was also excited to go today and grab a few criterions. With the 50% off sale, you'll be hooked on just buying new ones. Just subscribed 🫱🏼🫲🏽
Awesome pickups, including that Great Wall-E edition! The special features with the director giving a peek under the tent of Pixar is so cool to see. Enjoy!
I have one of my blu ray editions of LOTR signed by Elijah Wood. It is the pride of my collection. How big is your entire physical media collection anyway??
I hope he signed it in elven! That would be awesome. Not too big. I try not to buy too many things. I try not to buy or collect for the sake of buying or collecting, just stuff I know I rewatch or really like.
