@@Seasquares these are cone 5 to 6 stoneware glazes. All the colors made by Amaco Brent (brand). Some of them are Potters Choice color line from Amaco, but theres some colors that are from a different line, but still from Amaco. The other line is the Satin Matte line. Its closer to the original colors used by my ancestors which were all matte finished. The black, white, orange were all matte. The two bowls with the gloss inside are from the potters choice line. The one bowl with the matte inside finish is the Satin Matte line. The rest of each bowl is unglazed . So it gives a similar matte finish but with that rich dark red brown color. All of these glazes fire at the same temp (cone 5 to 6) which translates to between 2140 degrees F to 2240 degrees F. (Over 1000 C)
Just uploaded a couple new pieces that are glazed. Im going to do a video series of how to hand paint glazed designs soon, like on the bowl with glazed feathers in the new video i posted. Stay tuned!
The only limitation is your imagination. Sculptural pottery has been around thousands of years. Im uploading some new videos now of how sculptural things can be made, bisque fired, glazed, and glaze fired. Stay tuned! 🖖🏼🤘🏽👍🏽
Im going to make a video of how to make your own Puki, so that people can make their own bowls with rounded bottoms, and much more. Also, new items ive made have been posted. Stay tuned, theres a lot more to come!
It is. Although, its pretty old, (8 years old) out of date, out of updates, and obsolete. It belongs to someone I know. Hes letting me learn how to use one.
Thank you. But Im afraid I dont own it anymore. It was sold to someone who drove it from here in PA to Seattle Washington. Last time I heard its still running and driving ! I painted it while I was in Texas and i have driven it all over the country.
@@JoeKThePotter oh I’m kind of sad it’s not in PA anymore and that I didn’t buy it 😂 It’s very cool and I hope they are taking care of it. I’d love to own a Mystery Machine some day!
@@ScoobyAddicts , make your own! When i got the van it was white and rusted. I fixed it up myself and brought it back from being in a junkyard. I fixed everything imaginable . I even built the transmission and rear differential myself and rebuilt the motor. I mean, you dont need to go as far as I did, but you can get something of any shape and paint it up like a mystery machine. Have fun with the idea. See how far you can take it. 👍👍
@@JoeKThePotter wow!! You really went all out! I know nothing about cars or painting them and I’m not super artistic unfortunately. I’ll get one someday, whether I buy it made or pay someone to custom paint a van haha.
