Well I'm in Australia and was taught metric at school then got a job in an engineering workshop that did everything imperial. So now I'm messed up and mix the two measurements together.

Omg I’m nearly 60 and trying to work out how the f did I pull a muscle just below my shoulder blade in my back, it hurt while I was laughing uncontrollably, especially when your “wife” was skipping towards the Netball centre. Having broken my left ankle 10yrs before I broke my right ankle both in the exact same spot and break, snapped the Fibula in half, first one on death stairs when I was living in the UK, and the right one slipping on ice when my dog was farting so revoltingly, that I made him get off my bed and took him to the toilet, he didn’t go, and on the way back onto my deck down I went at 3.30am , I don’t even drink alcohol, my dog went back to bed, as I had to crawl out of the mud and back onto the deck and inside. Then because I live in the bush now and it’s not conducive to crutches, I walked on it for 45 minutes to try and walk it off, knowing it was broken, before I finally accepted my situation and took my Ugg boot off to look at it, definitely had a slight curve to it, then had to wait 90 minutes for the ambulance, and walk to the ambulance because their equipment was getting bogged. They’re both extra strong now with the extra bone you lay down healing it. I’m very cautious now when I know that it’s icy.
this year will be the first time since the 08/09 financial year that I will have to do a tax return..I hope I get something back...I was a carer for family members, until they up and died..then I had to find a job..
Congratulations on receiving an OAM Jimmy. As always you are spot on observing human behaviour. At the Tree Tops Adventure Park in Belgrave I saw a Dad hanging in the middle of a zip line - too heavy to make it to the other end. A ladder was.brought out to get him down!
