Kelly English is a singer/songwriter from Hartford, Connecticut. A finalist in the 2015 NewSong Songwriting Contest, one of North America's premier performance and songwriting competitions, Kelly traveled to Asheville to compete at the Lake Eden Arts Festival. There, she found a home at Echo Mountain Recording Studios, where she recorded her debut album “City Limits”.

It's my Birthday and we were baking out this jeep - in a parked car with the windows rolled up - YUP! Listening to your s*....your so GOOD yo. I don't know why you never mention this. If it was me I'd be reminding you everyday. Parked Car - The original sounds too bright and cheerful. I mean it's good if you want to sound live, but when you dont have all that, the focus is ON YOU. I want to say I like how hard the drums hit in the original, but theres times where the bass hits you like - woah. I think this song was made to sound darker. To me the linndrum mix better captures the seriousness. when people know they're about to party, theres a high in itself. - That's the feeling I get when I know the chorus is about to start. That's my favorite part. That's when the attitude gets serious. The darker more serious side, that's my favorite thing about the song and the lindrumm mix compliments that so much better. The original is well done, but its like when I told you Prince had bass in Doves Cry but took it out because he liked the vibe - I just like the VIBE of the linndrum more...The ending is MUCH better to, things get a little hairy you know what I mean.
Great job. This album is such a solid piece. Some of the best songs are not even known by most people. Semi-Charmed is great, but most people don't even know this song is out there.

The pickups get slanted the other way so the high end gets smoothed off, less ice picky, and bass has this percussive BITE to it, its sick af. Love this though. You're not the only inspiration, but you've been a part of the inspiration for me getting back to music. I used to LOVE IT, it was my passion I'd take it everywhere..Life happens though, you know..
