Congress came into the hearing already exhausted from other world issues as Frank Zappa relays modern music issues being processed by the masses and cannot comprehend what he is delivering not being prepared what he has to say.
After David (Mr. Copperfield) has separated his two halves, his top half (his head, neck, shoulders, and torso) get lowered into a chair while his bottom half (his hips, legs, and feet) remain visibly standing up.
After the part with the cloth thing, David (Mr. Copperfield) demonstrates to the audience that he is truly in two pieces (cut in half) by lowering the top half of his body into a chair while his bottom half (from the waist down) remains visibly standing.
Also, while the laser beam is cutting him in half, David (Mr. Copperfield) raises his arms whie he winces a bit, then turns his head (after he winces a bit), then moves his arms to help guide the laser beam across his waist.
David (Mr. Copperfield) and the girls (his assistants) must have had to rehearse the part where the girls raise the cloth thing so that the girls could move it just in time.
If you want to control what kids watch or listen to, you may be a commie. It is the job of the PARENT to decide that, not the Government. The first amendment is first for a reason. And the modern form of government don't like it and wants to trample it under foot. Just like ALL OF THE BILL OF RIGHTS. Some of the most immoral people in our country wants to preach about morals, smfh. 🙄
I also like how in this illusion, David (Mr. Copperfield) is in full view and not covered up by a box or something when the laser beam is cutting him in half.
When the laser beam is cutting David (Mr. Copperfield) in half, you can see sparks and flames where the beam hits his body. You can also see the part of his pants where his zipper is because the light from the laser beam illuminates it.
These guys had the fucking honour to watch williamson perfom live and they barley react! this is what i do not like about our CIVILIZED society where we are formed into working senseless people working without enjoying simple moments about our lives. sorry for turning things philosophical and shit but Williamson is one of the greatest performing artists in the world and he deserves a much better welcome
In this illusion, David (Mr. Copperfield) is wearing a light blue button-down shirt (with the top few buttons unbuttoned), a white undershirt (both the shirt and undershirt are tucked into his pants), blue underwear (I guess), black pants, a black belt with a silver buckle, black socks, and black shoes. The shirt and undershirt are tucked into his pants by the way.
When the illusion starts, David (Mr. Copperfield) is a whole man, but after he separates the top half of his body from the bottom half of his body (and lowers the top half of his body into a chair), he's beside himself, then at the end of the illusion, when he reconnects his top half and his bottom half, he becomes a whole man again.
Also, once he has separated his top half from his bottom half and lowered the top half of his body into the chair, once David (Mr. Copperfield) looks out at the audience, his right foot taps to the beat of the music.
Once David (Mr. Copperfield) has separated his top half from his bottom half and the top half of his body is in the chair, he holds onto his legs until his right foot starts tapping, then he lets go of his legs a little bit and then he lets go of his legs the rest of the way until his legs move toward him.
As the laser beam is cutting him in half, David (Mr. Copperfield) winces a little bit and then guides the laser beam across his waist from one side to the other side until the beam has cut through his waist.
The magicians have performed essentially an exact version of Shuffle Bored, developed by Simon Aronson. A widely known trick picked up by P&T very easily
I can't tell you what a clash of culture this was. Frank was So articulate, so beautiful, and he is a good parent of good fruit, "by the way," that he absolutely impressed and smattered the representatives. This is MY history.
One of my first 7 inch records as a young lad was HATE THE POLICE by texas band THE DICKS. I was enamoured by the rawness of it. It made me read and pay attention to injustice. My family had been in internment camps. I didn't want to throw a brick through a window and worship the devil. I wanted to even the score by knowing what they didn't. Just my 2 cents.
What Frank was saying is what my very conservative parents believed. They looked at what we listened to and watched and if they felt it was not for our age or mental development, we didn't listen to or watch it. This idea has gone by the wayside as the government loves to keep us ignorant of truth. (opinion) Parents today, for the most part, do not keep track of what "little Johnny" is doing in his free time. And then get surprised Pikachu face when he shoots up his school or is caught stealing smokes and beer at the local C-store.
