Hey there! I’m Alicia, a born and raised N. Carolina girl! :)
I’m a SAH(homeschooling)M with two amazing teenagers! Homeschooling and household responsibilities keep me very busy, and crafting is my therapy! I’ve always enjoyed crafting and creating things! Some of my favorite memories are spending time with my granny and learning how to sew and create beautiful things for our home with what supplies and materials we had on hand or from things we collected outside. I enjoy taking items I already have and repurposing them - giving them new life, crafting with Dollar Tree and thrifted items, and culinary crafting in the kitchen! My decor style is rustic, farmhouse, country. My projects are simple and easy and can be done on a budget. My hope is that you find creative inspiration and get your crafty juices flowing! I look forward to crafting with you!
Thank you so much for supporting me on this journey! “The Lord God is my strength and my song.” Isaiah 12:2
I just watched your video and realized you're in Burnsville. I lived there for 28 years and worked at Mountain Heritage as a counselor, raised my children there. When I retired I moved to Winston-Salem. My children and their spouses and I have been making regular trips to Burnsville with truckloads of supplies. We will make our 7th trip on Monday. We will continue to raise money, accept donations and make regular trips as long as is necessary. Our hearts are breaking for our beloved Yancey County friends and family. We continue to pray for all of you.
Thanking God that you and your family fared pretty well during this devastating storm. There were many prayers for this part of the country from my Sunday School class. Praying now for the recovery and rebuilding. 🙏
I’m in Hendersonville off of 64 and we still are without internet as well. We only were without power for 4 days, but lost our food, no generator. My son in Asheville just got power back, trees came down but didn’t hit anything. My other son in Mills River had many trees hit his house and vehicles but not extensive. I’m sorry that you had such trouble. Our church and most of the others here are doing an amazing service to all people. It’s nice to see how people come together during these times. Be safe
I’m glad that you and your family are safe and didn’t have extensive damage. We were definitely blessed and so thankful that our home wasn’t damaged. I told my husband it was amazing to see neighbors and small communities come together helping one another and making sure everyone was okay and had everything they need. We’ll need to continue this through the months to come.
Sorry about that. I did watch it several times, and on my end, it wasn't that loud. 🤷♀️. The music volume in all of my newest videos has been resolved. Be sure to check them out!
It’s definitely been cooler here earlier than usual! I absolutely love fall, so I’m so excited that it seems to be coming earlier this year! Thanks for watching! ❤️
I would really appreciate it if you would show a full picture of your finished product and let it sit there for a second or two so we can really look at it closely. Loved what you did I just didn’t get a good look at the finished product.
I’m counting down the days until it’s officially fall! It’s been so hot and humid this summer that we’re really looking forward to the consistently cooler temps! Thanks for watching!
Alicia, these are adorable ideas! I love the button pumpkin. Keeping the leaves was a good decision. I would maybe add small leaf behind the bow. Idk. It’s beautiful either way. Love leaf stamping! Did that as a kid too! Thanks for the memories! Will do that with grandkids. The scarecrow is so cute! Love him. I have to make him! Thanks for sharing your talent with us! Glad you had a helper today! Great job! 😊❤👍😂
I love the button pumpkin. You mentioned the leaves at the bottom. Maybe add a few of the silk leaves to come up to the pumpkin. Cute idea to do with my grandkids.
Alicia, these are just adorable! I love mini’s. So cute. Love the blanket on the ladder! The picture frame with the pumpkin on top is gorgeous. Most of all, what a treasure you have in the corner cabinet your Dad made for you. Very, very special. Thanks for sharing your talent with us. 😊❤👍🎃
Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m so glad you liked everything! I have many treasures in my house, and I love sharing the stories about them! The corner cabinet is definitely one of the more special ones!
Love Them... Could decoupage a lot of your creations.. Very pretty for fall, Thank you for sharing. Many Blessings To You And Your Family Stay Safe And Well. *ellen on husband's account*
Alicia, these are so adorable! I love the tissue paper carnations. That’s what we called them when I was growing up. Love the mesh you added too. Beautiful ❤ great ideas! Thanks for the memories too! 😊❤👍
It was super simple! I picked a font I liked in Cricut Design Space, sized it to fit my ribbon, and cut it out in some glitter iron on vinyl I had, and just applied it with my Cricut mini press. Easy peasey! ☺️. Hope that helps!
Thank you for the kind words! Pumpkins are my favorite, as my viewers can tell from my videos, lol! I think one should’ve been titled “Pumpkin Palloza” 😂!
