As a former church musician, I this. The horns really made this song bop. Peak John P. Kee for sure. Nobody is outplaying each other. It’s a beautiful thing to see. Musicians today are more about the show than uplifting souls. I can listen to this on a loop. Kee really put together a great ensemble of musicians.

This is why Jon p kee is the best executor in gospel music @4:41 under rated is and under statement. He gave me this cd out of his showcase in the lobby of the church, back in 2001. I was 15. He opened his church doors for community members like myself to utilize the gym for basketball. I often went there to play after walking home from west Charlotte H.S! He asked me what I was doing there so early? The gym wasn’t ready yet but he gave me this Cd off GP. Straight handed me a masterpiece! 💪🏿🤝🏾 Thanks Jon p Kee! I heard this song for the very first time in my 55 years on earth , and John P Kee shared this a few nights ago on fb when he spoke so eloquently about to Pastor Carlton Pearson who took him under his wings and mentored him when others left him.
