It can, but the Nyx Z1 with traditional channel trucks, more so than the Z3. The Z3 is more of an off-road exploration board, to really take you off the beaten path. We believe our trucks in general are much more durable than the ones you'd find elsewhere.
@@acedeckboardsDoes the Nyx Z1 come with steel gear drives now? POM has been known to shatter when landing jumps even just slightly the wrong way. POM on the Z1 intended for jumping is a deal breaker imo
@@leftpalmofbuddha6116 Not yet, but soon. Our POM gears are tough. We have many jumpers and they never once had issues with the gears. Of all the POM gear drives we have sold, we have only seen one or two damaged gears not due to driver error. Many POM gears from other brands just aren't strong enough.
Just ordered one a couple days ago. To say I'm excited is an understatement. I can't wait to compare this to my Endeavor Pro and my Trampa! The NYX Z3 looks like the perfect combination of the 2 boards.
Great review!! What are your thoughts about the actual deal Ares X1 with the 200mm offroad tires and tubes for 100usd more... is it possible to use the same hubs as for the 180s? Is ground clearance than fine for some easy offroad sessions? Not sure though....
