I post short videos here to explain something useful about a problem I've come across in normal life. I hope these videos are useful and address everyday, real pains that people could use a few tips on.
I put an explanation in the description but RU-vid has changed and that is no longer displayed in full by default. I've now added subtitles to make it clearer and I have a newer version of the video on my channel with speech!.
You have to initially hold the button down for about 2 seconds, then press repeatedly to cycle through. If that doesn’t work then I’m not sure what to suggest.
man someone please tell me how I use my prepayment card on this model - there's nowhere to insert it! I'm freezing here washing myself in a basin with a kettle I BEG

Hi John, thanks for your witty comment. The point is to show "... how to navigate to the Export Tariff to see how much electricity you're sent back to the grid.". That's written in the description. It's not obvious and there aren't many instructions on-line, hence I took a few minutes to record it in case it helps others.

I've been pressing buttons on my meter for ages with no joy. If this video taught me one thing, it was to press and hold Button A, from the sleeping (unlit) condition, to access the menu functions. Thank you.
THIS! I've been trying for hours to work out how to get to Export. If you wake up the unit then press and hold 'A' you arent able to get into the advanced menu, this only works by pressing and holding 'A' from the sleep state! Thanks Alan

Hiya, I have the same meter (though it's got 2 rates on it. One hasn't moved in months, no idea why) just wondered if this is part of the smart meters that aren't communicating when you switch away from British gas? We want to switch to octopus but been told we may need a new meter? As it can't speak to the octopus network 🤷♀️
