Thank You for the video. That was great. I love the way Disney updated the old ride with something new. I did like Brer Rabbit and Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah but that's the story for the old folks and it was definitely time to bring in something new. Y'know, change is good. Can't always be stuck with the Same Old Same Old!
How many pixie dust cupcakes did you have? This is an atrocity at its finest, sir. Were you wearing rose colored glasses? Are you afraid of losing media perks, perhaps? You should be ashamed to say this is fabulous 👌
If the alligator can play the trumpet, why can't he just play at the dumb party instead of wasting time out in the swamp? Or, you know, they could just visit Bourbon Street and hire any of the bands there... I guess I put more thought into this than Charita Carter and co.
For most of the ride you're staring at empty voids of hyper-realistic foliage and the next second you're bombarded with 7 animatronics that you don't have time to admire. Half of the issues with this ride could be solved if they just distributed the animatronics more evenly across the whole ride.
Tiana also overcomes hardships with teamwork and doesn’t give up. Mama Odie is the Voodoo Queen of the Bayou and a bunch of animals are afraid of her. There’s plenty more to these characters that doesn't get presented in this ten minute ride. Adding these elements wouldn't take away from feeling invited at the end, it would just give more ways for riders to actually connect with the characters and progress with them.
@@kiwisoupwhat is boring about his comment? That’s his opinion and unfortunately an opinion that many people share right now. I am not understanding of how a valid critique could be “boring”. With that said, The ride does need improvement! It clearly has issues of sensors, boat backups and story line issues. It’s pretty apparent.
@@CrazyManhog No...I mean the Rockwork and red clay and waterfall makes the Lousiana Bayou look super cool. It's a creative way to make the Avery Island salt dome look really cool in a below sea-level swamp.
@@EddieV123 - 100% agreed. Tony Baxter is somebody that I very much admire. I have been fortunate enough to meet and talk to him twice. Tony is literally one of the top 10 greatest employees Disney has ever had.
Here are my rankings 10) dark entities 9) blood line 8) the depths 7) Mesmer 6) grimoire 5) curse of calico 4 )waxwork's 3) room 13 2) chilling chambers 1) cinema slasher
Is this eatery set in the Mad Max Saga universe? If so, those flies are on theme. How do you eat that knowing there were flies on all that food? At least comment on it and be transparent.
How can you not love this ride? How awesome is it that Disney Imagineering used the salt mines of Avery Island, Louisiana, used during the Civil War, to create the entrance to the ride, so exciting to ponder the fate of up to 500 black slaves at a time while they toiled and were tortured during the Civil War (See Rice University - Avery Island for further details) covered in infected open sores from the salt, chained at the ankles and to each other and knowing they died in agony while you wait in the entrance to the ride. How brilliant of Disney to use a well documented place of heinous abuse of black people for a family ride!!! Imagine the merchandise that can be created and sold (especially for the Halloween nights) honoring certainly some the worst treatment of blacks in American History!!! Just keep in mine for those who don't appreciate beautiful fun Imagineering, for the squeamish, Disney has put up a sign on Tiana's Bayou stating "Salt Mines - Reserved - For Seasoned Veterans", meaning the tortured slaves.
Everyone always likes to trash that first launch but it’s definitely worth noting most amusement parks in the world don’t have a ride that goes as high or as fast as TT2’s first launch… and on this ride, that’s just the warmup! The scale of this ride is hard to overstate
Too bad it breaks down constantly... :'( honestly the best ride at the park is the Maverick. Though, I do like how they made the top thrill 2 longer. That's a really nice touch.
