I have def been having fun with this update. Have only had my QC for a little while and I absolutely LOVE IT! Keep it up man! Suggestion on your tone recreation series: Creed? Have always wanted to see someone breakdown something like With Arms Wide Open or Higher.

I’ve always felt like Nolly and Nolly X were more producers trying to find the right tones. The plugin is so versatile and you can find almost any guitar tone you’d want for a record. Plini X and Gojira X are more geared towards the tones that they use in their music. All 3 of these plugins are amazing and I own all of them but I do feel like Nolly X is more versatile than both of them. I’m excited to get Nolly X in the QC to combine the 3 easily 👀

Nice tone as always! been waiting for this video for a while since uve been recreating some others pop punk bands. Have you tried to emulate Green Day's tone from the trilogy? its a very special sound and it would be great to have it on the QC

Nice job dude! For some reason, I only just now followed you on the Neural DSP cloud. I have made some suggestions in the past, but I'd love to hear your take on Green Day's Dookie album. I'm a total noob so the Marshall based preset I made didn't sound awesome. Probably needs a fair bit of EQ for that Marshall high end. Interested to see what your thoughts are!
Depends on the time period, since Lifeforms Tom has gone full Axe Fx 3. Unless he or Aaron tells us, we won’t quite know. Most people looking for his blink tone in the 2000’s would be looking for some combination of Fender Dual Reverb, JCM900 + Dual Recto. Tom ditched that upon leaving blink in 2005 and went with Fender Dual Verb + AC30. It is very well documented 😂
@@CreepyCat. I’m not trying to make tones from his AXfx though. I am trying to make tones from what he has used live that was physical amps and pedals. There are videos that show that Tom used AC30s live.
Sounds great! But if you want to get even closer, Chris uses a capture of an Orange Rockerverb 50, and Ryan uses a capture of a Marshall JCM800 "through some cab". I know at least the 2nd one is stock on the QC! I think there are a few Neural Captures of Rockerverbs included too.

@@nicozona I was going to suggest TSSF but you've got that covered (watching now)! I bet Knuckle Puck would be a fun one. They're a band that seems to take pride in their guitar tones. Also, Four Year Strong would be cool. Lots of sick riffs to choose from to demo the tone!

Hell yeah dude! I use the quad cortex for all of my recent ptv covers and haven’t seen anybody do a video like this so it was cool to see another persons take on trying to create their tones in the cortex! 🤘🏼
A7X's tones are just sooo different, waking the fallen was super bassy and thick through a Mesa, City of Evil was a Bogner, crisper and tighter, nightmare was very low gain and marshally sounding. There just isn't really an A7X tone to speak of
