Dolls • Miniatures • Nostalgia Reliving childhood magic ✨ Welcome to Grandma’s miniature world, where warm memories linger in the air. I’m Tonya - an adult doll collector - also known as #grandmagetsreal. In the 70s, I followed Barbie’s tiny footsteps as a Teenage Fashion Model, only to trade it all for the white picket fence lifestyle. Six years ago, I ventured into social media, capturing moments with Barbies and my grandchildren. Soon, I delved into collecting 1/6 scale realistic miniatures for their Playscale dioramas, filling room-boxes with tiny wonders, miniature foods, and nostalgic bits. With over 1.7 million followers, I share my passion for dolls, miniatures, and the beauty of nostalgia. You might have caught my creations on the Kelly Clarkson Show or in People Magazine.
In 1960 for my 5th Birthday I got a huge Mickey Mouse house (you play with the house afterwards too. It had therese cardbrd. Characters inside too! Even the insied of the house was very detailed. NOBODY RUINED IT; AS A HUGE CAUTION NOTE WAS PLACED UPON THE ROOF BEFORE OPENING IT. I WISHED GOOGLE HAD PICTURES OF IT.) There's a way to open it so you DO NOT RUIN THE BLACK AND WHITE WOODEN HOUSE! I have a picture of me opening it! It had red curtains where the windows were. It was full with a set of plastic Mickey Mouse dishes to eat off of. They were very detailed. My 3 years older Sister than I; had the same. Pricey; thus "WHY" it was my huge Birthday gift. I was so happy! That silverware hon is authentic too that you have from the 1950's! That's what it looked like!
I just found him in Walmart and I love him and his tiny accessories. I just ran across your video. So adorable that you added his little knife to your kitchen. It will make an awesome prop. LOL
