I can't believe they just straight-up updated Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door. Like... ACTUALLY just updated it! They finally understand what makes Paper Mario so good!
Let's just hope they apply it to the next game and realize people want a battle system like this game, actual partners, and character designs like this game's. That whole character mandate thing is the most idiotic thing and hopefully they eliminate it so we can see more characters like Goombella, Koops, and Bobbery. Seriously, who's bright idea was it to limit the creativity when it comes to character designs?
@@Torradukei hope so too. you can the devs really wanted to do that sort of stuff in tok, but whatever “limitations” there was stopped it all, pretty stupid
Is probably just me, but the rock guitar ruins the vibe a bit. It doesn’t sound like you’re going to fight a magical shadow demon, it sounds like you’re fight a powers up Bowser for the twentieth time.
This might be one of if not the most banger Bowser Castle themes we had in a long time, I mean it’s just SO good and catchy. Even if not the best it’s most definitely a frontrunner
One of the few songs where I prefer the original. Don't get me wrong, it's still very good and can stand on it's own, but when comparing to the original Smorg theme it just feels like it's lacking something
Dude, they did so freaking well on the music for Chapter 8. The way the Palace theme escalates throughout the chapter is so good, battles keeping the Palace theme gives them a completely different feel, Dark Bones and Gloomtail got their own themes, the song for when everyone gives you their support captures so much emotion, and Shadow Queen's themes are genuinely some of the best songs in the entire game
Some of these remixes, like this, and bonetail's theme are giving me binding of isaac vibes and i'm all for it. chaotic mixtures of electronic, metal and classical music with some haunting choirs just kick ass.
