i was there in 1983 in a sailing boat hiding from storm season. I DIDNT stay at the resort but was friends with the owners. Some guy drew it as a map on a napkin as a cool place to hide from storms. It was the most beautiful place imaginable. the video images dont do it justice. The lady owner had transplanted rare corals from all over into her underwater garden. I remember waking up and seeing 5 faces looking at me through the porthole watching me sleep from their canoes. I would trade lobsters for tshirts or stck tobacco with them. Something wild happened while i was there that i cant talk about here but the owner of the resort was able to tell me the full story as he spoke pigeon. I am 100% sure that my story is still told at village campfires. I was man of honour at a multi tribal feast where everyone was naked except me. It's a special place for me. They treated me like a king.
Thanks for the great videos. We are headed on this cruise shortly. We have heard some absolute horror stories about the tenders and how long they can take to get on and off the ship at each port. Can you shed any light on this? Are they as bad/slow as the online reviews say? We are taking a toddler (what we’re we thinking) so we would love to know your thoughts. Standing in a long lines is nearly impossible with him. 😩 any feedback on this, or tips would be amazing? Thank you 😊
