I've had my machine for 20 years and never even knew what that lever was. My son recently picked up sewing and figured it out after about 4 months 🤣 I was floored, I had no idea!
The whole video is very informative and I look forward to online classes. However, I have a suggestion. The consistent blue banner at the bottom of the video is annoying. Could you eliminate it?
Is there a specific brand of thread that Elna recommends? I do mostly quilting and baby toys, bibs etc and prefer cotton but want to be sure to use the right thing for my machine. The store I purchased from only recommended polyester thread. Thanks

Tish this is a wonderful tutorial!. I love the way you show step by step up close and explain everything. This makes me so excited to sew something new. I also love the tip regarding the stitching at the end and how to find it on my sewing machine. I not only learned how to make a simple gift but also what the stitch on my machine does.
