G'day, Welcome to my channel.. I am a self-taught Amateur Voice over artist (Actor)/Voice Impressionist, Fan Series maker, Artist and Part-time 3D Modeller (for CTW).
On this channel, you’ll find various videos which I make in my free time to share with fellow fans what I love to do. My main focus on this channel is the 80s TV Programme ‘Tugs’ but you’ll also occasionally come across a Thomas and Friends video, Impression Reels/Demonstrations, Blinky Bill/Yoram Gross videos (January and February) and much more.
This channel isn’t here to get the most views or compete with larger channels, it’s here to purely share some passion, love, dedication and pride towards my interests which I’ve retained since a young age. My content is all suitable for all ages to watch!
@@DavidBContentExtravaganza3967 thank you for your comment. Out of the voices I do for diesel 10, Keith Scott is my favourite as my natural speaking voice isn’t too far of Keith’s and I can impersonate just about any character he’s voiced (the diesel 10 voices I’m able to pull of are Neil crone and Keith Scott) I probably can pull off Matt’s take, but I haven’t studied it enough.
@@aganthonygoody254 it’s actually still on my old channel 🤣. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iDY5JQnilPs.htmlsi=F3elMaba-DmDVPyb if your interested this and the second one are at least 9 years old.
Very cathartic indeed! Two characters who represent more than a bygone age where things were simpler, but characters whose adventures and shaped who you are as a person. You felt the sadness that they felt, you rejoiced at their triumphs and in a way, they were always there for you and always will be. Loads of love dude! So happy to be involved in your it RU-vid journey! 💙💙
Not bad. Definitely has potential and if you can't get as close as you like, something like this with a little more refined delivery could definitely work as more of its own thing.
@@BringMayFlowers It is honestly a very hard voice to do (any voice impression is) but out of the Thomas narrators I can do I think Ringo is probably the best. (Due to being very monotone) Thank you for your comment.
@@The_Olive_Tree_1079 Hmmm, I didn’t do much to the music. It’s basically the official instrumental pitched up a little. Nowadays though there are better instrumental versions of the Tugs theme.. I have no idea where these people hide them though, I just use what’s available on RU-vid.
@@LesStarport thanks for the reply, it is annoying how hard it is to find the better instrumentals. This still sound and looks great regardless. Great job.
@@LBSC70 Good advice mate.. Although trying to hold a slightly more gruffer and nasally voice would be very difficult to pull off.. but that’s the whole purpose of this video, seeing what’s wrong with the voice the most.
@@smasherjosh5000 I’m sorry can you please explain a bit better? I simply recorded this on my iPad and due to nature of CRT TVs and PAL video you will see visible flickering on camera, that can’t be fixed as far as I’m aware of. In other words IRL the TV was working fine, no flickering.
@@crtretro Nah, old comment.. I’ve since taken the advice, 25fps is a setting which gets rid of the flickering (and mind you is the true analogue fps for PAL) I’m not going to spend loads of money on a software I’ll rarely use. I’m not a very techie person for my age. Thanks anyway for the suggestion.
@@BlakeHawkinsVA The sound of an old CRT is rather nostalgic to me. Before I became interested in tugs VHS and CRTs were away from life, reusing them again was very nostalgic. I really enjoyed watching Tugs authentically! Cheers for watching!
@@BlakeHawkinsVA Lots of love was put into this performance, definetly one of my best performances. I understand now just how much people love my Captain Star voice it sounds so magical and fitting over the actual footage from Tugs. All this voice needed was some love pumped into it and care. Thank you for commenting!
The voice is a great fit! Although I don’t know if people would want to sit through a 7 minute long Sizzler before their feature! Probably a cropped down version would be best I’d say.
Fantastic. If that story had existed as the series finale, we could have seen all of that including "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" (Thomas and Friends Version). #TimeMachine
Well, considering I only wrote it in literally an hour’s time I sure am pleased with how it turned out. Although, I wonder how it would have worked as a 20 Minute cut as I deliberately wrote and cut it to a short run time due to available time. Ha, thanks for your comment!
You know, I actually agree. but, it wasn’t me or my mates voicing the characters. I cleaned up the original dialogue audio using adobe podcast. Giving a like you said not bad not great result.
Oh I haven’t retired Chris, just been living my life, I recently got a Tugs VHS although the only problem I had with it was it got stuck in my VCR, but after changing the cassettes over, I fixed it and the player was fine (thank goodness) couldn’t afford to loose a $100 machine which can play and display in both NTSC and PAL
@@LesStarport I got one tape cassette from America NTSC it is but it works with the PAL VHS Player. It of Wile E Coyote & The Road Runner that I bought but cameras don't go well with Aussie Computers when they're NTSC. If anyone from America wants to see a program from the UK they had to pay a price to buy a VHS Player with an Aussie plug and an international plug set if it's likely to happen.
@@TheNewStoryteller lots can play NTSC but it’s usually only in PAL. What’s different about mine is it can output in genuine NTSC which works fine provided you have a Multisystem TV to go with it. I’ve played both NTSC and PAL tapes in mine and they both work fine. Well my sole NTSC tape flickers a lot (i think it’s just the output and TV struggling to keep the picture steady) but otherwise it works well. To play a PAL tape in the states though the only way to have a Multisystem VCR as most won’t play PAL.
@@TheNewStoryteller They’re called worldwide vcrs the top range Multisystem VCRs one of my friends has one, those can play PAL on NTSC systems and vice versa. Mine though is a mid range through as it can only output PAL in PAL and NTSC in NTSC.
@@Thomasbangbangstories2008Amazing! I only learnt about Tabaluga in recent times though. His series was made by the same company as Blinky Bill, such a beautiful cartoon. But to find a tape of him in English well, that’s harder than finding a Tugs VHS ha!
Well thank you for commenting. Starting a collection is great fun, I’d definetly advise you to go forward, make it your own. My Blinky bill collection is growing all the time. Whatever you decide to collect I wish you the best with the start of your exciting new collection.
It’s a very, very old model I made in sketchup a few years ago. Never made it publicly available due to the fact I mashed several models together to make it. So alas it’s not publicly avalible, truely sorry about that. Have a good day, Les
