League of Gentlemen was and still is absolutely awesome stuff. I grew up not so far from the location that they filmed it in and this was something of a 'claim to fame', through absolutely no achievement of my own, when I went to uni. A farcical, magnificent, comedic opera that was totally unique.
Fuck me, both "He'll shit on you and set you on fire" and "Bird's Eye potato waffles, waffley versatile" should have been in the original sketch I absolutely pissed myself!
Who's this awkward woman at the start, she's dreadful on stage. Cringed all through that thanks to that terrible setup, her non-existent stage presence and dreadful acting skills.

I love Shearsmith and Pemberton's writing. One thing that puzzles me. The woke whiners are constantly berating 'Little Britain' about EVERY black or Asian character they ever had, yet nobody bleats about this.
