nice one, you explain in a way i get.ove had permanent both ears tinitus for 10 yrs min.i treat it like rain on a tin roof, its a bit of a barrier to inner quiet but in time you condition to it.ive recently restarted tm i wondered if i could use the sound as a sound meditation.or maybe over concentrating on it might make it worse?
Excellent content. I must admit I struggle with hermeneutic as it is always possible to extend the interpretation and present a different perspective on the context, whether it is on a personal or social level. Thanks for sharing though. It's been 4 years, you might not see this. Cheers
This has to be one of the most under rated conversations ever... 281 views. The amount of information that you have been able to glean out of Dr Romanov is amazing. 👏 Can you organise a part 2?
Tried these out just for fun. Feels like "omg! About to go sideways!" As you lower, then its shockingly solid at the bottom, can hang out there for a long while, sitting on nothing, then press out. Feel the headrush, wait for the exhaustion, but it doesnt come. Instead its "hey, lets do that again". :D Very controlled, I am impressed with it. 👍
Hi Carl, greetings from England! I have just found your channel and have subscribed. I’ve had tinnitus before and it went but it came back in October 2022 and unfortunately is still present - I also have it in my left ear. MRI scan in February 2023 was normal. It drives me nuts but mainly during the night. I have quite stiff neck muscles on the left side also. Do you think that this could be relevant to my tinnitus? Xx

Thanks for the video. I’ve had Tinnitus for some years but it became worse a few weeks ago until I was obsessing about it all the time. Like you I had used meditation but started doing it more regularly and personally I think it is the key to understanding what tinnitus is and being able to live with it. And as you said it almost seems like a marker in life if something is out of balance - emotional stress, relationships, worry generally etc. To see tinnitus as something almost useful rather than scary and isolating is challenging at first but eventually very valuable.
I tried this when I was a kid but perhaps I did something wrong... at some point my arms just wouldn't twist anymore relative to their sockets, and I let go because it felt very painful
You were probably not getting high enough and your arms being behind you rather than in-line or even in front of you. Maybe something to work up to again.
Hey, sorry for the slow reply. One thing that can make a huge difference for AC joint issues is strengthening the posterior deltoid. Try including some reverse fly and face pull work in your programme and see if that adds some value. 👍
