The chickens can get stressed from getting too hot, and when there is a delay in laying sometimes they will lay a small egg. These contain only albumen the white of the egg and not the yolk.
@@SophiesFoodAdventures Could I ask for one only on Sunday? I thought that English Breakfast was the traditional one. Do you eat English Breakfast only on weekends? 🤔
@@bbbmmm-ie4rj it depends on the establishment...yes English breakfast is popular at weekends and some people like a good morning fry up after an evening of drinking.

I was hoping this was a copycat recipe for Fortnum and Mason mince pies. 🥲 We lived on Jermyn St., just down from Fortnum and Mason, for 5 years. Every year when they released their mince pies I would get so excited. They are SO tasty! We left London at the end of 2020, and sadly, there are no mince pies in the USA. My search continues then.
