This is one of the most pointless and yet elaborate jokes ever told with the punchiest of punchlines and the 5 minute build up. No one could write this. "Why didn't he just look both ways". Genius.
The laugh at 1:10 was pretty uncomfortable late at night, was afraid I'd wake the people living here, lol. But, anyway, I wish that these were audio balanced a bit
As was stated above a few times, the looking both ways is one of the XFM shows' best bits. In a way, it *is* genius. God bless his little round head. Another favorite of mine is the "If it's all about arse, why don't gays like a little bit of tit?". Timeless.
At the start of the video the way Stephen is saying shadow it almost makes me think he's signalling Karl to tell the story which means he already knows about it which means his reactions are rather forced and fake.. Which makes me sad :(

Guys im not saying that it's scripted to the point that everyone knows what everyone else is going to say. But I do think that Karl told them the story and they said no you need to say this on the air so they reminded him to do it. It's so clear you guys telling me hearinf Stephen saying Shadow that way to karl at the start isn't a signal to tell his little story?

To be fair the worst when it comes to language are the native english speakers. They don't even bother trying to pronounce names correctly even. They just pretend it is an english name or change it.
***** you'd be surprised. It could have to do with the cultural heritage of imperialism. Stick a flag into something, give it a new name. Don't bother about learning names or languages.
