Hey I am Jaka from Slovenia. I am sure you already noticed I love everything on two wheels :) It is my pleasure to have you here on Escape Rider motorcycle adventure channel. @@EscapeRider absolutely yes. It's perfect. But your bike looks and sounds much better. Performance is great on both bikes. I'm a smaller guy so the 890 is about as tall as I can manage and the center of gravity is favorable on the 890 too

Very good video, was last year there. It was an amazing trip and one of my highlights from this year. But personally is the Transalpina my favorite due to the landscape.
Great vid 👍 i recently came across these bikes, I loved the versatility of my klr but way under powered then my vstrom 1000 had nice power but not versatile enough where the 990 covers both.
exactly mate, this is the bike where you can go full gas onroad and still capable to do technical offroan unloaded and do nice trails fully loaded. Cheers mate 🤙

@@EscapeRider The internet is full of rowdies doing wheelies or driven 300+... thanks again for showing normal riding, enjoying the countrysides. i grew up arround motorcycles and your videos really show whats its like to be out there. my dream is to drive to magadan on a motorcycle. Or just go to Isle of Man to see the TT race... Or maybe to meet you to go an cruise on 990s
I'm jealous, I ride a 950 Adventure and it consumes 7.5 liters on average. Even though I thought I had my gas hand under control. It's beautiful here in Austria, thanks for the video.
Is there a chance you’ve adjusted your valves and somehow turned your 950 into a “twingle” cause I’m sorry but it sounds way off? Google 950 or 990 twingle and you’ll know what I’m saying.
Hmmm I I have been adjusting valves 2x with my mechanic and he said they are in the allowable gap range. But now I am curious if that is not as it is supposed so 🤣
@@EscapeRider they can be adjusted correctly but the firing order isn't normal , honestly just didn't sound like a 950. If you google twingle you'll see what I mean. If it runs good and sounds like other 950's it might have just been the audio the way I heard it. It might be in my head , if you see another 950/990 have a listen at idle.
