i liked it a lot! i've already acted in a couple of shakespeare spectacles, and i,ve had to handle all those things that are tipical of dramatic pieces: technique, emotions, etc. Dramatic theater is very beautiful, the classical is thrilling, i know, and it has its merit. But so is post dramatic theater. I love the post dramatic! It's modern, different, crazy, abstract, and the aesthetics are always surprising. It has to do more with simbology, sign interpretation, semiotics and performance. It's very very good! i love the abstract, i love post dramatic! congratulations to The Wooster Group!
I'm sick and tired of people labeling crap as "experimental" to gaslight critics and the audience into forgoing the techniques and talents of art to grant the amateur and the purposely abstract (the deconstruction of art) as a masterpiece. People don't know that every time you grant the abstract and experimental merit, you take us a step back in the progression of arts and crafts. Stop saying it's open to interpretation. If you make bad art, no matter your skill level its still bad. Actual artists who understand stand the craft well enough to destroy it (Grotowski, Picasso, Schoenberg, Reggio) shouldn't be given merit they should be held to the standards that we hold the amateur to. Otherwise, if you agree with them, then you should tear down every institution dedicated to the craft, as teaching art is meaningless without a standard to hold it to.
Theatre is about making your own meanings and putting questions in the heads of the audience.. This is a wow piece; a mixture of technology, body language, movements and sounds. I just loved this abstract piece

I love these guys -- just saw their new piece based on a Chris Hegedus & D.A. Pennebaker documentary shot in 1971where Norman Mailer took on Germaine Greer, Jill Johnston and Diana Trilling: "Town Bloody Hall." Wooster Group called their version: THE TOWN HALL AFFAIR.

У певицы красивый голос, хотя она - скорее крепкое сопрано, нежели меццо - низы слабоваты, плюс - переигрывает во вред голосу. Декорации и костюмы - полный кошмар. г-на Разумова гнать в шею из художников театра надо.
