Do you finish the install on all 4 axles? then start to bleed the brakes ( rear right, rear left , front right, front left ) ? or can I start with installing rear right side, and bleed it right after I am done with the caliper installation? thanks
We purchased the wiring harness adapter that you linked in your description and watching your video....the male harness adapter that was purchased only has the two purple and two green wires. In your video starting at approx. 2:30, it looks like you connect the orange wire (Illumination/dimmer wire) from the female radio harness to a blue wire on the male harness adapter? Where did the blue wire on the male harness adapter come from?
I totally forgot to mention that. I removed the blue wire from the other female harness and used it to make a connection to the other side as it was missing a cable.
Be careful if you decide to do this without draining the brake lines first. Brake fluid will eat through bare metal in seconds. Ruined a rotor that way once.
You should be able to use the same shorter bolts. The GR86 with the steel knuckles allow for the bar that comes from factory but you don’t really need it from my experience.
@@Catalyst4k Yeah I saw your video but wasn’t that header made for gen1 tho? I swear I heard you say that was made for gen1. The one I’m talking about is a new one made for gen2.
@CarsOverPeople Correct, it was a first gen one but the design is identical down to the piping. If I had to bet money, I’d say they are the same with a new part number.
@@Catalyst4k Damn, that’d kinda be shitty on HKS’d part if that’s true lol. Anyway, how is their welding & material quality on those headers? I kinda feel like HKS is overhyped/overrated tbh…
@CarsOverPeople It’s just speculation, but yeah, the quality is pretty good. The welds are great and there’s nothing that screams poor quality. HKS is a little pricey, but from everything I’ve seen, it’s worth it.
what's the order of operations for flushing the clutch fluid? I think you say to open the bleeder valve then push in the clutch? And I guess while it's pushed in you close the valve then pull up the clutch pedal? and repeat?
Hi bro, love sound from HKS Legamax Sport, the BRZ Ts with Brembo Caliper System is much more attractive. Could we possibly swap this Brembo Calipers into the stock BRZ 2023 brake? Does it affect the Eyesight function? Please help, many thanks!
I don’t think they can get it exactly perfect because it’s a molding. I’ve experienced fitment imperfections with fenders from Seibon too. It’s not bad at all though.
Some of these checklists are completely unnecessary. If you are using your car on a track, and or drifting etc, anything that is pushing your car to it's limits, okay maybe then. But if you are just a every day driver and not trying to audition for a Fast and the Furious movie, then oil and oil filter change are the only things you need to focus on. Sure check the fluid levels for what's "normal" under the hood, air filter as well, but the rest is pretty extreme.
Less girth hey, hence top-end power being reduced when it need a to breathe. Funny as I've seen people 'gain' 20hp from there... Don't think those numbers were true! Thanks for sharing the good info!
Bummer on the windshield. My Civic Type R windshield only made it 1,200 miles before it got an instacrack and had to be replaced. My BRZ only made it 2,000 miles before a chip. Got the chip repaired almost immediately but it's not 100% and not sure if it will spread or not. Would be nice if trucks had mudflaps!!!
That's a tough break! I had one and had it filled in, and it didn’t expand. Then I got that one I mentioned and didn’t have it filled, guess it really does help. Definitely feel you on the mudflaps, trucks without them are windshield killers!
how do you stow away your full size wheel if you get a flat? does it actually fit where your compact spare is ? Or do you have to put it on top of the floor board?
