Definitely the dark side. I have some side grain pallet wood chopping boards i have made. They look really good but just need a lift as they are pine. Doing the burn will make them pop. Cheers for the inspiration mate.

Hey man, I just found your page and really enjoy the content! I've picked up a few solid pointers already so thank you! My question is, What do you tell clients about the gaps in the 2 piece crown to ceiling? We install for a few local shops and do our own remodeling. On remodel jobs we'll typically spackle down the ceilings and have found it to work relatively well. But, when we are just hired to install and are not responsible for any of the other trades I don't know what to do/say Hoping you've ran into the issue Thanks man, Keep up the content! Mike
Hey Mike Thanks for for following along, I’m happy to hear you are learning some new techniques. That’s definitely a good question! Depending on the job I will suggest specific crowns. If the ceilings are bad I will suggest a flat stock so I can scribe to the ceiling. Or sometimes I will come down about 1/2” and try to maintain that gap, but this way does require it open.Does that make sense? It can definitely be quite difficult and it all comes down to working with the client and making sure they know what you are up against and giving them some guidance on what to do. Suggesting flat stock is a great idea honestly especially when you know the ceilings are bad. and if the client doesn't go for it you at least have a leg to stand on when it isn't "perfect" Additionally, optioning dropping the crown a little and leaving a "shadow line" (at least that's what I call it) makes perfect sense as well, I've just never thought to option it Thanks a bunch! Their health issues are largely avoided by going with a reputable, professional breeder and the highest quality food. Romeo is almost 3 and hasn’t had a single issue ❤️ A lot of people have their dogs on food with GMO’d wheat in it and this causes all kinds of allergies health problems. Constantly at the vet. They need a clean, non-inflammatory diet. We go with ancient grains (which are not GMO’d) or grain free food.

Q + A: One of the most commonly asked questions we get is what do we feed Romeo??? We focus on giving him high quality, wheat/grain free food. Common wheat (unless it is an ancient grain) has been chemically, genetically modified (GMO’d) and these chemicals, especially with long term chronic exposure, deteriorate the digestive and other systems. They can impair immunity, cause allergies and weaken a dog’s health. Same for humans actually ;) So we are super passionate about feeding Romeo wheat-free food and treats. You can find the specific brands we’re using linked below but the main idea is to avoid wheat/grains and look for the addition of essential vitamins and nutrients like turmeric (which is anti-inflammatory) for example. Hey that’s awesome I would love to see a picture of him, I’m sure he’s gorgeous. He had a brother the same colour and also had a blue one in his litter we considered to. Such amazing dogs. We have had the best experience with him.
Oh wow, do you know if it happened during the day or at night? We have them secured in the coop at night and we have cams that detect motion outside the coop as well. But good to know the raccoons can sometimes still break through!
