Great video. I just purchased the Tikka 7mm rem mag Laminate. And will try this load. I have some Barnes ttsx 160gr with the H4831 and CCI primers so should be good comparison. Thank you for sharing this
Really appreciated learning from your excellent video and also from reading the comments. Definitely liked and subscribed... intending to someday soon honor the ancestors and harvest some venison using a shorty shell . Thanks.
You could look into slug rifle choke , which will turn a smooth barrel into a rifle barrel . (If your shutgun can take that type of choke ) I have the m6 scout and have taken 1 red(15 yards ) and 1 grey 20-25 yards .. Red dot Also my scout didn’t like 22 stingers if you were to store it for a long time , I went to refresh the ammo and the bullet head was stuck inside the chamber (had to get it out with a rod ) just fyi . It could shoot it , just not good to store one in the chamber for a long period of time . Also they make target stand that you can hit the standing target and it will pop up a disk and you can try to switch to the shotgun and try to hit it 😅
I disagree about your assumption about 800$ bikes being cheap I Also on a Jetson Hayes and a rad runner plus and by far the rad runner is harder to move around on maybe you like the dirt in the mud and all the other stuff but normally people don’t and the Jets and Hayes is the better street bike and plus your rat doesn’t do but 18 mph because you hadn’t figured out how to turn up the speed yet or are you having just not doing it
Ik this was 2 years ago so you might’ve figured it out already but I’ve been shooting a recurve six I was like 6 and it is basically all instinct not aiming so try not holding it back as long and trying to aim you just gotta focus on a tiny spot and let in fly I promise it works a lot better and just a lot of shooting to get that instinct on point
I also live in Alaska and raise goats so I carry this every time I walk outside, with bear loads but they make a little flashlight that goes on the front of it, mine doesn't have that on it. Would it be possible to incorporate bear spray with the bullets? Or maybe in that little spot where the flashlight goes. And have them both deploy when the trigger is pulled.
One reviewer the guy took the front sight fiber out and cut the rear half off and stuck it back in, in the most front section of the front sight and said it allowed for more precise shots.
You're missing the point of combination guns. Sorry for being blunt. Here in Europe, specifically Germany, there are loads of combination guns around. They come from the fact, that here we don't have a licence hunting system but a territorial system where you rent territories, so to speak. Anyway, the whole point of a combined gun is that you are equipped for anything your rented territory has to offer gamewise. So that you don't have to bring more than one gun. For example: you stalk a deer, take out a fox and in the evening you get some ducks... Your mistake is to want to have that deer rifle. The whole point of a combined gun is to have a shotgun and a deer rifle in one firearm. I use a 12 gauge over a .308 Win. With that combo i can take anything from wild hog, roe deer, down to foxes, raccoons, hare or pigeon. Don't think of a combined gun as a supplement of a deer rifle. Think of it as a deer rifle plus a shotgun. So get a good combined gun, take that out and leave your deer rifle at home, don't need it. Ther's even combined guns with three barrels, mostly two shotgun plus one rifled barrel but also to rifled barrels in small and big calibre plus a shotgun barrel. With that you have a varmint rifle a deer rifle and a shotgun.
Do they still make them over there? Or are they just a bunch of old drilling guns? The little badger is the only one I know of still in production here in the U.S.
@@jerichofalls8236they still make them here. Mostly it's high end stuff because lots of people want bolt actions but my combo is czech made and from 3 years ago. It's chambered in .308 / 12ga
@@hb8718 That's awesome. I imagine they are exportable, no? Believe the only hitch in American law pertains to "assault" weapons. I have no idea about European law
You lost me with the conventional reel on the spinning rod. the rod is made to bend the other way when fighting a fish. Maybe that is why you keep breaking rods?
These are nice I love mine but I'll stick with my glock 20. So much more reliable and accurate. I do like that I didn't have to change my barrel to shoot hardcast in the Springfield. I had to get a kkm barrel for my g20
Last year 2022, I inherited one of these NIB after a dear friend succumbed to cancer related to 911. I haven't been able to bring myself to shoot it yet, but after watching your excellent video I believe it is time to take it out of the box.
Thank you for the video i have a Savage Model 24 C 22 LR 20 GA but i am looking at the doble badger 22 LR 20 GA my Savavge i got in 1976 i keep it in my go bag i need one more for my girl's go bag to,
I don't live in Alaska currently, but I'm moving there real soon.i will not go out in the woods without at least a 308 ar10 in my hands. 20 rounds of 308 will stop a bear quick.
This guy doesn’t know what he’s talking about use common sense when disassembling A firearm make sure it’s completely unloaded then you can release the slide and pull the trigger never had a problem
It's been 2 years since your last video on the Chiappa Double Badger. Any updates on how it performs? Is having both 22LR and 20gauge a benefit or would you now go with just the regular Chiappa Little Badger in one of the 22 calibers (LR, WMR, etc) ? Thanks so much for these great videos, keep 'em coming :)
I use the aguila mini shells in my ksg and mossberg. Killed a wild sheep 2 weeks ago at 90 yards. Killed hogs at 70 and under along with coyotes beaver etc. I also Killed pigs with the mini buckshot and lots of squirrels with the mini bird shot. Love the mini shells
hey jeff forgot to say if you are going to hall just your bike and not two , check out a motorcycle carrier a lot cheaper. harbor freight or e bay. just saying
Jeff great video, on the rad rover. I bought the Rambo 750 g-3 - 1/18/20. I got the bike, fenders, both racks, plus the cart and flashlight goes on handlebars for $2332.00 out the door. just bought the rad rover fender kit to put on my Rambo bike. I live in Michigan and there no rad rover around here. i have knee problems so i know what you mean. have a great day plus hunting !!
I do that, but i make sure the magazine is out, there is not a "hidden" round in the mag well nor action, and look as well as physically ( pinky check) the chamber ( all three actions, thrice ). Then, and Only then, do i look down the barrel ( muzzle to chamber ). Even with those basic safety checks, i Still have one lady freak out each and every time i do it. Granted, i deliberately do it to get a response from her, possibly more than to check the bore for obstructions or cleanliness. Still, i don't recommend it for / to others. I believe they should make their Own mistakes, not copy mine. Then again, i'm an American in Montana. Free... ☆
