i dont get why everyone is hating on corey for this. the dude is a human being. despite being a famous person, it doesnt mean he is any less human, and he went through alot of trauma during that time of his life. if you were corey, you would probably attempt to try and focus on your current career and music and shift your focus and your fans focus as well. i dont see anything wrong with that, and he was really respectful about it setting that boundry really quick, and then being nice to her after her compliments but the thing that really bothers me, is how he very cleary said he wants to lightly dip into the past, then the very first thing they do is ignore that and immediately start talking about his early career. you could tell he was uncomfortable with it, and had already used up his bravery to set the boundry earlier, so now he was just trying to go with it until the other guy made it clear he wasnt informed on his early career which likely made corey feel insulted, therefore corey whom was likely hurt and offended already for being ignored, went on the offense. so yes, its a bit weird, but i dont blame corey here.
Its cool that Ben grew up in a "normal" everyday working family. My parents worked full time jobs and my Mom put her self through college when my brother and I were growing up. I can only remember a handful of times where they helped me with school projects or to study. As the parents it was their job to work and as kids our job was school.
I was a 90s kid, so these people are MY Bradys. Obviously the originals are the originals, but this is the cast that made me laugh uncontrollably as a kid, and seeing them reunite like this has put such a giant smile on my face. Thanks for making this happen.
I was just watching the movie again for the first time in over 20 years, and actually noticed that it seemed like in a couple scenes Marcia had a mark on her lip that they'd tried to cover up as best they could. Now I know the story, lol.
I hope that the narcissist that is Corey Feldman reads this; ya do know that people only "like" your music because it's cringe central, right? You do know that, tosspot? People "enjoy" your music ironically.
Nice to see them talk about the cast of Wings. That's what makes it such a great show, they were all fantastic and it looked like a lot of fun to make. Glad Tim mentioned Crystal Bernard... they were so sweet together. Hope she's happy wherever she is. And they missed Rebecca Schull who is still going strong (from what I have heard) at 95. Some of my favourite episodes are when Joe took a dramatic turn....when his mother came back to the Island, when "Joe Blows" and when he proposed to Helen. Still watch the show regularly. It holds up well. 👍
Corey's favorite friday the 13th was part 3? Very interesting! Corey was also in part 5 at the start! True Legend! Corey takes so much crap on line from people for doing nothing wrong. Why do so many people hate on Corey for simply acting like a legend should act.
Love Jennie Garth....I live close to the neighborhood she grew up in once the Garth's moved to Phoenix before she met Mr. James (her agent/manager) that got her into acting. Interesting bit about David - he said his family has Scarsdale/White Plains connections. My family does as well. My dad grew up in White Plains and then my grandparents retired and lived in Brewster for the rest of their lives. My great uncle was even (a long time ago) the principal of a school in White Plains in the 1960s and 1970s (before David's time in high school admittedly). Very small world. Loved HEY DUDE - so cool to have a show filmed in AZ as I grew up and on Nickelodeon.
Love this movie! I think I wore out the VHS and had to keep getting new copies. The drowning scene with Ryan screaming "one two three, wake up"....gets me every time!
Had such a crush on Scott Wolf - Bailey on Party of Five and also Chuck Gieg in WHITE SQUALL. Love his recent work with Kristin Chenowith for Hallmark as well! He looks great for being like 53 now! I hope I look as good at that age as he does! White Squall was my favorite 90s flick with cute guys with their shirts off most of the film. David's work in it is fantastic as well!
This interview showed up for me today. I can't stop watching the Feldman stage entertainment. His 80s stuff is what makes him relevant. You guys did him a favor putting him on your show. Thanks for the laughs!
I just watched every episode in the last week (entire series on internet) and I found this today! What a fun listen! My sister and I love the show and I introduced her to this program today as well. Thanks so much for these podcasts!
Feldman is Such A Dick! I was such a fan but thanks to the internet I know what a fake pos he is. But I was also a fan of Ted and Melody Hansen Growing up from Hey Dude and they seem so genuine and Christine Taylor could Shut Feldman down with her life and career and is so modest. David looks stoned. But hes still cool as hell.
