some people with very tight or short tongue ties may have problems saying some words or sounds. once this is released however there should be no more restrictions
After release tongue tie, exercise is necessary or not.because i heard from someone if we don't press tongue from where is the cut,it will again stick to it's previous position.
@@anzyx8252is terminated is painful and in how many days take back to normal .I also diagnosis hygroma at 11 weeks and advice me to terminate...😢plz reply
I'm tongue-tied when I was born on September then until I got tongue-untied I was like 2 or 3 or 4 months old then when I tongue-untied by cutting with scissors and my poor self I was hurting bad and for some reason this baby in video not bleeding but me I was bleeding everywhere.
Why didn’t you do a full release? There really is no reason to only do a little snip, only if you don’t know how to do a full release. This baby will have problems in the future.
this is an inaccurate statement. not all patients need a "deep" frenectomy. actually going too deep can harm the delicate nerves leading to further issues, not to mention the risk of bleeding. tongue tie releases should only be to the point where the child can stick their tongue out past their lips.
Will labiaplasty on non consenting girls ever become legal? If a parent can just circumcise a boy at any age, for whatever reason, why aren’t parents allowed to alter a girl’s body for no reason, other than the parents preference? Why do American doctors listen to parents, instead of just saying no? Circumcision should be a choice an adult makes, if he wants it or not, just like labiaplasty. Labiaplasty has many benefits, but you have to be a consenting adult to have it done. Circumcisions of any boy without a medical reason should be rejected by all American doctors. Doing it to “look like the father” or because the parents think it “looks better” is not a valid reason to have it done.
Hi doctor❤ I have niece, she is 11 months old and she has cystic hygroma. She is 9.8 kg and the lump which looks like swelling on her neck is the same size as the baby’s which is in the video. I think my niece has smillar condition with the baby in the video. My niece is doing fine, she has no pain and everything is normal. We have recently a week ago noticed that mass on her neck. We went to a phycision, he said that she has cystic higroma, and it was on her neck from birth. Moreover, he said that there is no other way to cure her, and she has to undergo a surgery. We don’t know what to do. I live in a third world country, I don’t know if the doctor is right with the operation suggestion. Please, give me some instructions what to do?
Hi! Not all cystic hygromas need treatment. If there are no symptoms from it, the option to monitor is available. Also, depending on various factors, there ae other treatment options other than surgery. It would be a good idea to seek out a different doctor for a second opinion if there is one available
@@PAKPediatrics hi doc, just want to ask if Bleomycin sulfate is effective for the treatment of my 1month old baby because this is the doctor suggest to do with my baby
My baby is 7 months and I have highlighted this to the doctor when he was an infant. I wished I did it sooner as at 7 months he has a hard time swallowing solids. He always chokes and can only eat purree.
Hi! i am not sure that the tongue tie would be the cause of your baby having a hard time swallowing solids. the more common cause is poor coordination of swallow reflex. i would have him be seen by a pediatric dentist and a speech pathologist (they evaluate swallow as well)
@@PAKPediatrics thing is his tongue tip is not round like normal. It's pulled back a bit and the doctor did say he has a mild tongue tied but said as long as he can drink or eat then it's fine. But I'm not so sure now that he is older. I'm seeing the doctor next week to check again.
Thank you soo much I was ready to rush my 2 year old to the hospital when I saw your video. I used the first method and heard the pop now my girl is fast asleep 😅. Grateful for your usefull videos. All the way from South Africa❤
I have a genetic disorder called cdls and didn’t know until I got pregnant had a still birth with multiple issues in my babys body. I recently got pregnant again about 4-5 months after and now I’m being told that at 13 weeks my child has a cystic hygroma on her neck and is surrounded but pockets of unexplained fluid . I’m seeing all these specialists and talking to Mfm praying for the best
hi! unfortunately there is no home remedy. There are different types of hydrocele and some improve on their own. It would be best to have him checked out to be safe. Good luck!
My doctor said my baby has a hernia in is testicles one is swollen more than the other he jus turned one but ever since he got home a week later he’s been staring tensing is tummy and struggle to get is poop out all day an night is poop is usually soft is it just the hydrocele an once that’s fix the staring stops are there could be something else causing is discomfort even when he feeds he screams
Thank you! My kid was in pain for 5 hours as we tried to figure out what was wrong. One slight turn at her elbow and she is completely cured! Thank you!
Hi Doctor, we were out and about away from home and my son got a forehead laceration from slipping and hitting his forehead on a metal picnic bench. I had a first aid kit, cleaned with antiseptic and then applied 3 steri strips across wound. It’s now been more than 24 hours and I’m having mom guilt about not taking him to urgent care. I’m an inpatient nurse, but we don’t do many of these kinds of wounds since I’m an inpatient nurse. Any tips to prevent scarring? Should I take him to be seen now? It’s been greater than 24 hours
Hi! I would always recommend seeing his pediatrician for an evaluation. Not just for the laceration, but for the head injury as well as this could have caused a concussion. As for the injury, once it is healed, I typically recommend a silicone gel regimen to minimize the scarring. He probably does not need to go to an urgent care at this point, his pediatrician will be able to navigate next steps with you :) good luck!
i commented on this in the video :P he's my son. i know he doesnt have any communicable diseases and i know i dont either. hands and instruments were cleaned thoroughly prior to procedure (twice, did it again after it started raining and had to go inside)
he NEEDS to be evaluated. he either did not develop one testes, has one still up (which can lead to cancer) or is retractile (goes up and down). each has different things to watch out for. please see your pediatrician to discuss this as soon as possible
