The first king looks like hes been through the trenches looks like hes seen some stufff. Form what ive been told he wasnt really a warrior but a very smart and cunning strategist. Thats why he won the war and united Tonga under one ruler.

Yep you are right he has seen some stuff. During one of his many battles, he was knocked out unconscious and almost died but was luckily saved by another warrior.

​@@nvlfs1995people were more exposed to the sun back then. They didn't have the comforts we enjoy today. My cousin was a very light skinned Tongan. After spending years in Tonga she came back looking really dark. Also those colorless photos makes them look darker than they actually are
