I currently work for the city of San Antonio print shop, twice a year. We do 500 books, each book is 480 sheets of 20 lb paper and you would imagine the tedious and mind numbing duty of having to punch these things... through a conventional punch binder and then hand collating them. This is something I will definitely look into purchasing.
my feed roller was all gunked up. We cleaned it, and allaround the things you mentioned in this video but it still won't feed the strip in. do you think if we got a new roller that would fix it?
Once the feed roller starts to degrade, cleaning it won't help it feed because the rubber wheel has to be a certain diameter to properly feed the strip. Replacing the feed roller would fix the issue, but it's a pretty in depth procedure and usually requires a local service technician that's familiar with the equipment.
At first I could not understand why you are wearing a mask when you are making a video. Then at the end of your video I saw it said Berkeley CA in your mailing address. I’m guessing the state makes you wear a mask pretty much 24/7. It was a really good video. I’m just sorry you had to wear a mask because the state threatened to shot down businesses.
HA blessed day Sir, I ask sir if the tape binding is available in our country? How much the cost of that machine. From Philippines. Thank you & God Bless
Hello Sir, I'm very impress about you explaining on how to bookbind. Yes, I really want to open a business like this but I don't know where can I buy those machine that you will use. If you don't mind can you help me to start this business. I want to know what is the 1first step that I brought to start. I'm from Philippines. Most of all I want to thank you for your effort to share your knowledge
Omggggggg this is just what I was looking for!!!! Thank you Jim!!! I really hope that you’re doing well! I work in manufacturing and I’ll tell you, you explained everything perfectly! You would be the best trainer! I know that I can bind books now because of how clearly you explained everything! Thanks a million!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm working with a fastback x15, it's a wonderful machine but there's been a persistent error that I cannot figure out. The strip doesn't match the length of the book in the bind, meaning part of the strip hangs off the book after binding. It happens seemingly at random. Any idea as to how to fix that?
