I don't care what anyone says, give me the Old School Big East any day of the week. I am glad that it still is going strong, but man I miss the old school big east that had all the teams that made it what it is. I will take old school Big East over any basketball conference.

in the doc it is said Laimbeer never ran from anyone, especially a nba star. True...but there's one man Laimbeer NEVER wanted any part of...Charles Oakley on the Bulls. He wanted no part of a tangle with Oakley....Oakley told Laimbeer if you hipcheck MJ on the floor again...I will punch in your face until you lose consciousness...Laimbeer's teammate Rick Mahorn told Laimbeer that Oakley would actually do that and Laimbeer absolutely believed him. Laimbeer literally ran from Oaklley on 1 occasion. You can understand why MJ was so pissed when the Bulls traded Oakley to New York for Cartwright.
Fast forward 2023 and he says his family didn't support his cornrows as they state the opposite, what a spoiled, entitled racist against the family that paid his way through life, puts a bad light on adoption.Just wow!
Well she made a comment that was alarming what she said about his tan looking good claiming she tried to make him feel good about his self.. that was interesting not saying it was racist but maybe unaware of a lot of things that you maybe shouldn’t say …
@@river-tvlifelibertyandthep3570 Nothing wrong with what she said. It was very nice. We all have different skin tones. As a small child, he did not realize why he was different. Skin tone has nothing to do with who the person is. Most people like to be tan or have some color, and that's fine. Some people do not like to be too white or too dark. And some cultures like to be very white or very dark. Nothing wrong with that--has nothing to do with racism.

@Erwin iron balls smith are u talking about when bird fired the basketball at laimbeers & pegged him after laimbeer viciously knocked bird to the floor ?? A 7'0 guy grabbing bird like that & literally having his arms come down on bird when bird had left his feet ? That was so flagrant plus bird had no problem as he said years later w/ a guy like Rick Mahorn " cause u knew Rick was gonna hit you but he wasn't trying to hurt u like Bill does. " bird then talked about not just him where Bill would purposely put his foot under a guy when he was in mid air to roll his ankle. He said he also did this to parish all the time cause parish was always getting sprained ankle only against the pistons. Bird had no problem w/ a guy banging w/ him in the paint he objected to laimbeer trying to hurt him & his teammates & I think he was sick of it. Plus bird started having serious back pain. I wonder if he already started having back issues & laimbeer crashing him to the floor , a hard wood floor made it worse or started it. What was bird supposed to do after that flagrant foul which the refs called ? I don't know why he had to be thrown out. He had every right to be angry, & wary of Bill cause he didn't want to get injured. I think that hard foul was the last straw.
