I’d like to know more about what is in the T-Mobile cabinets. So one is batteries and power supplies? The other is networking and base station equipment?
I have a question... Why would a cricket(at&t) phone constantly drop all connection, 4-5 times a day sometimes? I usually have 3 to 4 full bars and at random all my apps lose connection and return with "You are back online" .. I lived a mile from the state police post and its been confirmed they use stingray here... could it be the stingray? I noticed sometimes it happens at 8am or 5pm, further proving it could be switched off when they come and leave work hours... Its always left at my house, so I do not understand why it only happens here.... i doubt its switching towers but figured I would ask a pro, as the store techs know almost nothing....
Just yesterday was shopping networks again... at&t was always best on road trips, tmobile not so much.. verizon is just overpriced every time by 25%. I am definitely going prepaid as its half cost now (5G era really pushed the resellers more) compared to contract post paid. The only reason to use non prepaid is to get a fancy phone like you have given back in form of 24 months of service(not worth it to me, using 250ish priced motorola phones that work fine)
I do not need it but for video and music, mostly... not concerned being 2nd tier on urban towers as i rarely go to major urban areas(farm suburbs areas mostly, low traffic 99% of the time)
I love that we get some behind the scenes looks at these longlines and other tower sites. ATT (etc) would never allow a normie to film these places legally, so tis awesome you are providing us with these vids. Even if you're not a professional youtuber / videographer, thank you for your service! So neat to see all this stuff. Keep it up!
Pretty cool tech. And stabile. Not fast in comparison to it's little brother system. But in the event of an emp related attack or anything emp related. It would fair much better than the new Junk.
those ATT speeds are typical for atts whole network. the few sites they have upgraded are more like VZW and T-Mo but they seem to be few and far between.
You should ask yourself why they want multi gig connections to your phone or car? Do you know that augmented reality take at least a gigabit backhaul to the device! Most things online only require 100mbps, it is the latency that matters, not the speed!
Watch to the end of the video. It's turned up. It's the only one in that area. I moved 1 block and it went to 300 meg. Dish isn't nearly as good here as in Vegas.
I’m still having 150-170 Ms ping att 5g low band. Lowest I can get is 70-90 Ms in a 1 mile radius towards my home tower. Is this cause they are in backup or why is there these stupid high pings?
Whoever is the person to poke at about the cages on the tower that protected the old waveguide, That one that's open needs to be secured or removed. They flop around in the wind and ultimately fall. It's not if, it's when.
they are very weird with the maps. some sites by me were on there before they even did the upgrades and some other sites that are done isn't mapped yet LOL
Incredible.. imagine back in the AOL 56k days, if you said these speeds would be in your car in the mountains miles away... people would think you are on all kinds of powdery substances..😅
But do you really need gig on a phone? So you can watch tic tac videos at 3mbps?? I get that their goal is to sell home broadband (which will become slow after they oversubscribe it by a lot), but those speeds on a phone seem rather pointless for 99.5% of people and what they use
