Then being taken advantage of in the city finding new friends.... only to see them die. Then finding another new friend.....only to watch her die. Then watching how the boy she loves and the only last remaining link to her childhood slowly loses his god damn mind as she's slowly sinking into a nihilistic despair about what to do....
@@DutchDread She still has her health and lucidity, Barret, Marlene and the rest of the party. She is lucky enough not to see ghosts of her dead comrades haunting her. She's tough...you exaggerate. Her nihilism sets in after Meteor is summoned because it dawns on her that there might be no hope...Hope is reignited though once they visit the forgotten capital again with Bugenhagen, learning more about Aerith and how much she actually knew and was capable of. The clues she left behind give Tifa hope for Cloud and the possible salvation from Meteor.
I only read the title of the video bro, and all I gotta say is; No. you’re not the only one who liked days gone. This title is a masterpiece piece gem hidden in a trough of false diamonds. Scratch that; LOST in false diamonds like call of duty or Fortnite or overwatch and cyberpunk.
I can relate to most of what you said and even agree with most it. If I may offer advice (just dismiss it if you don't agree or care about it), try to work on your enunciation, tone and the volume of your voice. You have a good base, but sometimes it can be a bit hard to understand what you say cause it sounds like you're slurring your words. You also seem to either get away from the microphone or lower the volume when you are finishing some sentences. That aside, opinion content like this brings perspective, and when done like you did it, without trashing or attacking, it adds food for thought. Keep it up man, good video
Great video concept bro. Thumbnail and title totally pulled me in. But a word of advice, maybe move your let's plays and these analytical / deconstructive videos to a separate channel. I clicked on your channel and got totally overwhelmed by a lot of let's plays.
I stand by the fact that this is one of the best ages of gaming that get overlooked very hard. First, experiment with emulation and roms. You can do it the fully legal way or slightly less so, but either way, its absolutely an amazing experience to gain access to an entirely new console you may have never played. You might catch up with less played games in a franchise you always admired. Best of all, play a game that has user created content or mods. These players are out here pouring thousands of hours into gaming experiences that put the original game to shame. I'm not talking about some rinky-dink "take clothes off" stuff. I'm talking about overhauls like remaking oblivion or morrowind inside skyrim. S.T.A.L.K.E.R has completely seperate games built on the system. Almost every popular games has mods and whole communities of players who will help you. As a bonus, experiment with cheats and exploits on games. This ONLY goes for single player games, you should never ruin another player's experience. Lets say you are burned out in a game. Instead of putting the game down for good, give your character an endgame weapon or some crazy stats that make them perform in crazy ways. It may be a way to have fun you never considered. seperate
My first game was Spy Fox in Dry Cereal, it was a point & click adventure game that came out in 1997 for the PC, but my first console was the ps2 and the first game I played on it was Madagascar, and typically games based on movies really suck but this game was pretty good. You mentioned turn based and persona so I gotta drop you some JRPG recommendations because honestly JRPGs are the goat: Dragon Quest 11 (art style is by the creator of DragonBall r.i.p), Tales of Arise (my game of the year when it came out), Octopath Traveler 1 and 2, Yakuza Zero, Scarlet Nexus, Nier Automata
I played Yakuza Zero, awesome game by the way. I never knew where to start with Dragon Quest series but now I do. Most of those games are a must play for me. Thanks for the recommendations.
If ur looking for a super good game check out roboquest the sound track goes stupid and when u get some distance into the game and gain access to more movement options its so fun
Blitz the league 2 was fucking goated its the only/first game i ever got all the achievements for. I still remember one song in the sound track called put me in the game shit was sick. Matter of fact imma get into emulation see if i can find that game and play it again
for two years i only played cod and league. now i play pokemon roms. fifa. cozy builders like terraria and dinkum. even picked up some fighters like tekken and multi. been fun.
I tried getting into more Pokémon games but there is no voice acting in most of those games. The gameplay be fun but can feel kind of empty with no voices.
I agree so much. I hate when ppl say “gaming is dead” and they only play 2K and COD half of the point of gaming is to explore new worlds linear or non linear
I enjoy the Kane and lynch 2 dogs day on my Xbox series x hopefully we can get the 3rd one in the future it’s my favorite psychopath 3rd person shooter game make it happen more mayhem action shooter lol. I would love the 3rd one Lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💯🔥🔥🔥.
me and my friend loved days gone, I thought it was exactly what the Zombie Genre was needing I will hold out hope that we might one day see Days Gone 2 Ive noticed a pattern, I love hated and hidden gem games lol, Ive seen to many games where Ive realized people hated them and I loved them.
Criminally underrated. I was so excited for this game after the first gameplay trailer dropped. Then a few years later found out it released. It’s like no one advertised it.
No days gone 2 ,The story was... just terrible...gameplay and ride was fine,hordes they were fun but they have no impact on anything it was just a side thing no even in game climax i was so disappointed eh i 100%it and never look back.
This is a game that got its respect way after release. Which is unfortunate. I unfortunately followed the initial reports that it wasn't that good, so I never touched it. One day I decided to try it my damn self & could not understand whatsoever why it wasn't praised. The game is an absolute gem that didn't get what it deserved. But that seems to be the case with many games. We don't appreciate them upon release but later, years after the release we realize that "Damn, this game was actually good".
It's an open world zombie game with motorcycles and horde mechanics, it was overhated imo. Idk though because I think games like cyberpunk are hella overrated

Super hated? Days Gone? It's literally one of the most recommended games to play here on youtube and often one of the top games on many top games lists.
I said that because most times when Days Gone is mention, it's never in a positive light. The game has its flaws sure but I didn't think it was that bad. I am glad that it is recommended a lot more these days.
Would go close to the last of us for me because of the exploration aspect i enjoy it is a bit like far cry and other games with camps and strongholds to take over can make it feel repetitive but as a whole is a great game and a second one could of been even better
Nah bruv you are far from the only one It is an awesome game .. I keep posting this but it is an awesome zombie game! There are moments when your heart is just pounding as hordes pour down on you, flanking you from everyside but you manage to roll and use an explosive to get some breathing room and take a breath before you release absolute hell upon the undead. Its awesome! I was so pissed that I wanted to take their blow torch and use it on skizzo
