Printed the rear part already but I have problems with the ball joints, any special settings on the printer to make em separate easy as in your video? I have to knock the balls with a hummer to unstuck them but the break easy. Maybe a design with bigger tolerance?
To answer my own question I have adjusted in prusa extrusion multiplier from 1 to 0.90 and now they came out perfectly. I have also road test it. Handles better, rear suspension is there but oversteer way more since it now has longer wheelbase, also no willies 😢. I am running on 2S lipo and sport tuned Tamiya motor.
I have printed a different fwd suspension system for mine but rear is bumping, your design looks pretty improved at the rear and you still using original suspension which is crap! Very nice design, looks like it is going to be a busy weekend. Thanks for sharing this❤
I hope to use only 3D printed parts for this theme to achieve the best results. I am very satisfied with the result. I hope you like it too and will try more in the future. Thank you!
😂bro the all part same like me too.. 😅but just inside only not same... 🥰Im upgrade slipper clutch, brushless motor 3650 9000kv,120a brushless ESC,more lower,27 pinion gear & control system full set..this car if no upgrade controller system really is got a little hard to control...because this car away delay...
Looks to stay planted on the ground. Both on take off and turns. Nice! You upload the plans to the cloud or.....? Did you post it to the Facebook page?
You can download this file and 3D print it yourself. The file is freely shared, thank you! My model is here: Thingiverse theme :TAMIYA LUNCH BOX LINK SUSPENSION SYSTEM UPGRADES

Man you must have a really high end 3d printer and you got it totally dialed in to make those captured balls that actually work!!!! Wow impressive for sure 👍

Aaaand that was my first RC car! dad bought it in the 87, when I was 7! It was crazy how fast it would go through a pack of alkaline batteries. Luckily rechargeable ones were much, much better. I enjoyed the car a lot and it still runs, but it is battered beyond words. It is awesome to see you working on it! 😊😊😊 A Tamiya Manta Ray would come later and, finally, an Inferno 😮
I've been thinking about making a 2 link at the front and trailing arm at the back Grasshopper. So I'm curious as to why you went 4 link and not the trailing arm IRS at the rear like your Grasshopper II?
This is the simplest solution for my future 3D printing test product. The video will be released soon. You can refer to it. The modification plan of the trailing arm will be carried out after the update, using 3D printing. Thank you!
