After building myself a new PC following a hiatus from PC gaming, Trev suggested I try a new (old) game he'd been playing.....
Me n Trev have been playing DayZ for about a year or two. We're seriously lacking in experience compared to a large chunk of the community. Nevertheless, we keep coming back to this game. I started posting videos here due to storage reasons and so we could both watch them easily.
I always fancied developing some editing skills, so that just started to happen.
Then we added our friend Chris, who has also been sucked in by this addictive game.
The long and short of it is we are relative novice payers, messing about in DayZ. We're just having fun on random adventures in the game. If we do something or explore somewhere that we think is cool (and I can find the time to edit ), it goes here.

Get rid of zombie thing gimmick making verbal attacks. It's not funny or interesting. Make the animation screen bigger rather than having him in the majority of the shot.
Hey man. Thanks for the feedback. I agree with him being smaller and I'd like a slightly larger area for the news items. I'm working on that. As for the attacks, you're not the first to comment on it by far, but you are the first to say get rid or anything other than they like it. So I think that will stay. . @nugslayer_2092 yeah man. For me, it's the scariest part. Even though once you get it down, it's pretty easy. It is walk forward with W and Then jump. Just pretend you're just vaulting a picket fence in cherno 😅

Pretty sure it still works. Just don't think you can get to the part of the temple that contains the second part of the hammer. You may be able to, but I haven't seen it done yet.
Yeah. Most servers that buff loot tend to have good stuff in there. Pre-5.3 it was pretty good as standard. Still get decent gear in there though at times.
ive been trying this quest solo for about a week, i got the scuba but it had slots for a snorkel and flippers or some sht lol are those parts necessary?
Not really. The flippers help you swim faster. The snorkel allows you to dive close to the surface. In the vid, it shows what I think is the quickest way to find a crate. But it does sort of depend on the server, as the diving tank capacity is set by the server. I'd get used to diving controls and test tank capacity somewhere near the shore first. Or check your servers discord. You do need to remember to fill the tank though (also in the vid)

Glad I could be of help. It's daunting starting out. I still sometimes get a slight sense of unease when I hear the original lobby music... used to scare the crap outta me. And it's just a game!

Now that I've spent a bunch of time looting this bunker it seems like the faster way to complete the quest is skipping this facility entirely and just using the swamp portal..? Deer isle, while pretty, has some insanely bad decision making involved lol
So you used to be able to do that. Since they split the hammer in two, getting to the underground temple to get the handle piece is the issue. Not that I've spent much time testing thoroughly, but it seems that doing the path from the underground area to the outside island (and then bear temple) in reverse won't be possible because of some high drops that wouldn't likely be climbable in reverse. I'd like to see someone do it though. I think I'd probably make a "Shortcut" Vid if I ever see someone do it. But so far, I haven't. Some servers have simplified the quest though, so the hammer remains where it was and in one piece. Which is cool. But it isn't what the quest is supposed to be as designed.
