@@Rlow-05 oh honey. you must be so young that you don't remember you tube five years ago when comments were just one long list and you couldn't reply to them.
Rosberg is racing under a German flag as he has German nationality, taking his mothers nationality which he chose as his ow nationality, it was the fastest and easiest way to get his racing licence. His father is the Finnish Keke Rosberg and he was BORN, SCHOOLED and BROUGHT UP in MONACO but due to his family not being Monagasque he chose not to have nationality different to both his parents and went on his mother's side seeing as he already has his fathers surname, I guess it's only fair and natural!
RedCyanPhotos LOL. Nico Rosberg also have Finnish nationality and he drove under Finnish flag in his early days. Why is Nico in F1? Because of his German mother or Finnish F1 Champion father?
He does have family ect in Finland, like grandparents and stuff, but he is Germany "all the way". Thought earlier in lower class car racing he used the finnish flag. But he is kept as a Germany's driver even in Finland.
its not hard to understand. nicos father, keke rosberg, is finnish. nico's mother is german. nico was brought up in monaco, speaking german to his parents. he raced under the finnish flag during his karting era but decided then to switch to german because there were a lot more german sponsors willing to support him. he has dual citizenship. although his father's finnish, nico cannot speak finnish. kapeesh?
