I haven't watched the full video yet but this is what I have to say so far. The terms "turning from sin" and "not sinning" is not something I'd say. Repent means to change one's mind about sin and God. Not to stop doing something. The obvious fruit of this is to try your best not to sin, but let us never confuse the fruit of a tree with the tree. Your faith is ALL that is necessary to be saved. That's it. This produces good works "faith without works is dead" and Romans 6:1-2 show this, but these works don't obtain or maintain our salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 11:6, John 3:16, Romans 3:23-25). Thanks for your comment. I’d suggest watching the whole thing before you give your rebuke respectfully thank you. The Law is used to show the person their sin and the impossibility to be saved apart from Christ. Just as Jesus uses the Law with the rich young ruler. The problem with "getting baptised" before you die is you never know when you will take your last breath on earth. Don't wait, it will be too late to accept Jesus when you breath your last breath!
Thanks for your comment Paul. Are you referring to the statement that was made in the video that we are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone? If you are, your charge is that it’s adding to the text of Ephesians 2. Respectfully that text was not quoted directly with the addition of the words alone, but a statement was made concerning the means of our salvation is not by works of the Law but by Grace. “Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith. For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.” Romans 3:27-28 NASB1995
@@makehisnameknown You fail to cover your tracks. James tells us that we are not justified by faith alone. This is the only time the phrase, "faith alone," is used in the Bible; and it says it won't save us.
Right! It is now obvious that all street preachers should try to be accompanied by a least two other persons from the church or group, who will `witness` what the speaker is saying, and therefore be able to rebut these hidden, secret `complainees` that suddenly appear out of the woodwork to summon the police. The complainant should really be required to accompany the officer to the scene and repeat their concerns. If the police insist on arresting the preacher then the witnesses should ask for individual police name/number to identify them in future, and also the witnesses should insist on giving their names and addresses as witnesses for the accused. The `victim` should also make it plain, politely, that he/she intends to fight the accusation and go all the way, including requiring compensation. Finally, when the street preacher is exonerated the `complainant` should, themselves, be pursued and not allowed to fade into the background. If `mischief makers` are not held to account they will continue to make mischief.
Sad that anyone still regards the Bible as worth defending. It's riddled with all sorts of stuff, good, bad and indifferent but it's not the words of a supernatural deity, that's for sure. Very few people at Pride events react with aggression towards religious people, it's far more often the other way. Here in my home town in the UK, the council organises an annual Pride weekend. Christians have a stall with Bibles, but they're just ignored as irrelevant and uninteresting. Which is as it should be.

That lady was wrong about that. Christ DOES judge, AND He is the ONLY one who has the authority to do so (John 5:22). The rest of us, unless we ourselves are without sin, need to keep our mouths shut when we are tempted to judge others (Romans 14:10, James 4:11-12, John 8:7).
@@makehisnameknown What is it you would say? I'm just pointing out scriptures that apply to the situation. BIG difference is, I'm not taking it upon myself to declare that you are in danger of Hell. That's Christ's business.
He loves them, but calls them "a child of The Devil". He really needs to check out James 1:26. This is what going against Matthew 6:5 leads to. Well, that, and judging others when you yourself are not without sin.

Repentance from sin and Faith in Christ are to be proclaimed in His name to all the nations. “Now on the same occasion there were some present who reported to Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. And Jesus said to them, “Do you suppose that these Galileans were greater sinners than all other Galileans because they suffered this fate? I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. Or do you suppose that those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them were worse culprits than all the men who live in Jerusalem? @@makehisnameknown right. "Repentance for forgiveness of sins" that doesn't mean turn from sins for salvation. 2 different things. Repentance is just a change of mind. God repented over 30 times in the Bible
hey, brother. i am a 17 year old street preacher that lives in n.c. its nice to see someone else preaching the word in public! what is your belief as far as things like calvinisim, armineinisim, Godhead, oness, etc...
Amen I agree with you. As these interactions happen quickly there are times all I can get out is Christ died for sinners. Thank you for your correction.
Preacher assaulting gay people. Telling people false man-made morals from an invented religion with no evidence for any supernatural claim is scam. Screaming it over speakers is molesting. I send you a lot human love :)
I’m so glad to be on the right side of the Lord now. I was lost but now I’m found, Praise the Lord! These people just don’t get it, or they don’t want to get it! It’s so frustrating to see them be so prideful. I’m grateful not to see any good in me but good in God!
