Do you desire to play the violin beautifully? To express yourself in music and touch people's hearts?
You're in the right place! Welcome to VIOLIN LOUNGE by Violinist Zlata!
My name is Zlata Brouwer, a performing classical violinist living in Holland.
As a violin teacher I'm specialized in bowing technique and vibrato. Creating a professional sound and playing with confidence and freedom are skills EVERYBODY can learn and I'm looking forward teaching YOU exactly how.
On this channel I publish a new video at least every Wednesday. Most of the times this is a violin lesson, but sometimes it's a performance video of me and my music friends, an interview with an inspiring violinist or a product review.

I am so happy to get these free lessons and they will be a great help as I have a violin teacher in person but we are doing the same Concertino in G Major and this has been a great help.
There is this part in a piece that I’m playing that is both band and orchestra. So when we are practicing I want to play LOUD so that the violins aren’t completely useless cause the song is supposed to be a band one but we just have the sheet music. Thanks! :]
Pro tip: when you first start violin, some teachers make you hold your bow in between the ledge before you move up to the smaller crack. Thats how i learnt and its a great step 👍🏻
Thank you so much. I have followed your advice and I also find it very useful to place my chin rest more in the center of the violin. About the tailpiece😊
Maybe you should learn to play the violin and piano sonatas before tackling the concerto. You have chosen the most difficult part of the concerto to pull off, as it is a quasi cadenza but also interacting with the orchestra. The actual cadenza is similar but not exactly a quotation. Maybe if you study the sonatas to see how Brahms interacts the piano and violin together. There's a lot of rubato and freedom of tempi in Brahms. Try the slow movement of the concerto or the second subject of the first movement, the last movement is more of a challenge. Adam Beanstock.
My english is not so good but.... Muchas gracias por estas explicaciones, soy estudiante de violín en Perú, y me ayudó mucho este video. Gracias gracias.
I had a violin for 5 years now but I stopped so I have no progress and tbh I regret it that I didn’t practice 😢I’m starting again this year wish me luck hope I remember
Waisted effort for the most part. Spending a few hundred dollars and purchasing a dicent student violin would be much better. Thank you for such an awesome test.
She didn't exactly say how much one needs to practice daily in order to align with this progression. Also I think that advancing in practice is linked directly to how easily you can find what you're doing wrong.
