I sure wish you could do my airedale. She is 7 months old and the current groomer does not have her head looking anything like you are doing here. Will look for a different groomer. Thanks
Thanks. I like that you use the quieter clipper to shave the inner part of the ear. I have wondered about that, I’m sure. I imagine it’s really loud for them.
If your not showing them it's much kinder to just clip them. You can swear all day that pulling doesn't hurt but I'll never beleive it. I've been clipping my pet airdales for more than 28 years. Every single one has had a healthy, soft and shinny coat.

Airedale was so paranoid about getting a haircut but you tell her jump in a tub for a bath no problem but the haircut she did not like October girl too bad you're getting a haircut she agreed to it now she's happy
What do you mean "Not the best of breeds"? he looks fine it's just that you suck at grooming, his cut was horribly done and Schnauzers are good dogs, he looks better than you with your goofy hair.
doesn't sissors and machines kill the pigments of their fur? As a kid, I knew someone who had an airdale that was groomed like that. The coat turned white in like no time.
Neutering changes coats also hand stripping to keep original colour and genetics plays a big part, clipping changes texture s you are cutting it and not pulling out dead hair, allowing new hair to grow. Hand stripping
Poor Alfie, sat there good as gold tolerant while you scissor away with only a handful of token insincere “good boys” Then you cover him in talcum powder(?!) and worse still hairspray? No gentle warnings before squirting him directly at his face (noisy and intimidating) and no protection for eyes. Then you casually comment that the powder and spray will all fall out within two hours of coming home anyway???!! . I’m watching this slap slap bang in the middle of a Corona virus pandemic simply to help me learn how to trim my Westies face kindly and safely. The several videos I’ve watched so far have been uninspiring to say the least and this one is no exception. I found myself frowning with anxiety all the way through. I’ve never posted on a RU-vid video before but honestly I found it upsetting rather than helpful.

If I were the owner I would not want spray and an up do, it is only going to go flat and sticky in a few days time. Couldn't you tease it instead of spray?
