1st Cruise - Original Sun Princess Love Boat in 1980! Just cruised - British Isles and Iceland July 2024! We love cruising for the ships but go for the ports visited! We are not an in depth CRUISE GUIDE nor PORT GUIDE (plenty of those out there!) but rather we enjoy sharing tips on what we have picked up while cruising to the many Ports of Call we have been fortunate to visit! We like to explore on our own when we can. However if the port is too far from the main attraction we will opt for a cruiseline shore excursion or a third-part excursion company tour! We hope you pick up a tip or two to make your next vacation a cruise to remember!

Thank you for the kind comment! ❣We did this particular tour to "Godafoss Waterfall" with Viator. The tour we did in Reykjavik was with "Shore Excursions Group" and the tour from Falmouth (Cornwall) was booked with the Princess cruiseline. Other ports we toured on our own. We usually will book a tour if the main attraction is far from the pier. Otherwise, we enjoy exploring on our own!

We did do a 14 day Canada/New England Cruise in October-November 2023 cruise, sort of. My wife was sick (not covid) and she missed everything but Boston for the town of Salem which we toured on October 31st I believe which was fitting. I am trying to convince her that we need a do over. I really liked your video. Thanks so much for sharing. We missed out on Bar Harbor as the Captain felt it was to rough so we bypassed the port. An hour afterwards it was beautiful out.

Excuse me for asking, but is the right side of the train overlooking the valley or the mountain? Also who did you cruise with? We are going in August with Holland America and wondered what you thought of the cruise. Thank you!
In the way from Flam to Myrdal, we were overlooking the valley on the right side of the train. We cruised with Azamara and absolutely loved our cruise to Norway...You will enjoy it...so beautiful.Wishing you good weather and a Bon Voyage!
