If you have superpowers, Sam; that's simply extraordinary performance level; mere gifts; tis what you elect to *do* with them that makes all the difference.
Samantha Arias; let me tell you; here and now: you are *quite* extraordinary; no normal human has that kind of performance. Mind you, you're no deity, not by a long-shot; but what you *are* is gifted in the extreme. Part of the thing that tells me that is the situation you're faced with, and the level of performance you have shown, with the obstacles you've had to face: you are *NOT* normal in performance level, as no normal human being could carry out those situations. This's not romanticism, not at all; but something's *different* about you; and as for your biological mother: stay away from that monster! I mean, using her own *baby* as a weapon; that's a very messed-up mind she's got; we're talking sorceress and thus *gangster* level of messed up psyche. For your own safety: do not yield to any such wicked spirit, no matter what.
It still amazes me that people think Catra isn’t a victim, and try to paint her as the villain. The definition of villain, implies inherent evil, want a perfect example of that in the She-Ra series, look no further than Horde Prime. He is the very definition of Villain, egotistical, narcissistic, desiring to bring order to the Galaxy, because he views it as wrong, simply because it does not conform to his beliefs. Cruel, cold, calculating, willing to use the feelings and attachments of others to hurt people and get his way. Now fairs fair, we she shadows of these in Catra, like when she kidnaps Bow and Glimmer, but she HAS a reason. She wants to win, she wants to impress Hordak and Shadow Weaver, she wants to prove she is better than Adora. Catra does bad things, not because she wants to, or because she’s following some crazed ideology, but purely out of necessity. Life in the Horde is all she’s ever known, and in the Horde, weakness is stamped out, so she HAS to be strong, she HAS to obey orders, she HAS to find a way to win, in the interest of her own survival. Now, let’s mix in the abuse she suffered from Shadow Weaver, her feelings for Adora, and how badly she deals with things like jealousy, depression and loneliness. Now to all those who STILL think Catra didn’t deserve redemption or Adora, take this information, and go back and watch the series again, or even just this video, and tell me… Is Catra a Villain, or a Victim?
Nah, shes a villain, thats actually the point of her character she victimizes herself, when in reality she's the one hurting people, she's selfish and abusive specially with Adora even trying to k!ll her multiple times, i dont even like she got redemption she was far from it since the end of season 1, she hurt a lot of people and didnt care, they ruined her character in season 5, that kiss scene was so gashlithing
I know this video is 4 years old but, it just came up in my recommendations so this is my first time viewing. Wow, it hit me like a punch, it is so well done. The way the clips were edited made the story very easy to follow…and what a story!! I just wish it was a movie trailer and that I could watch a full movie. The poster who put this together is very imaginative and talented. Bravo!!!!
Yeah, seeing as the long-haired one is a flat-out *witch*; and the other is perhaps in a far worse state by the end of the series, spiritually/ethically-speaking; they did get pretty darn sick as the story progressed.
Taking on rhogan44's comment. I am an amateur, but the way you surf between the different layers is great. I particularly loved the "telephone voice" of the canon storyline. Thanks a bunch!
Octavia = Had been fighting for her life since she was born Emori = Had to protect herself since she was thrown as a kid Lexa = Had to lead her people since she was 12 Raven = Had to raise herself since she was young Clarke = Had to lead Skykru since she was 17 All of them had to survive even after all that.... Note: I'm still not over Lexa's death
I dont get one thing, octavia, whom indra was weak and slow, how does she win from so many, larger, more experienced fighters attacking her together in the bunker s5?
