I was in the Wall in the back. It was fucking awesome! When people talked about their highlight of the festival on Sunday I heard many people mention Hanabie and they performed as the third band overall!
really weak performance off matt. you can tell he is tired and just disappears instead of hyping up the crowd. with the high notes his voice just distorts instead of hitting the notes.
I saw them live at the beginning of the month, and he was absolutely killing it back then. His distortion technique requires a lot of precision, and I hope he just lost precision at the end of the song because his voice was a bit tired out or because he couldn't properly hear himself. I just don't hope he screws up his voice again by touring excessively, as he truly was close to his peak of 2011 when I saw him live in Hamburg.
With a two minute intro with two guitar solos, I think it would be a great time to go and get some water and rest for a second so I totally understand him being off the stage for a little.
🤔Maybe there might be something to do with that They are a bit starting get a name elsewhere. Crowd ain't easy take over and win easily on Your side in any Country these days. No matter How Cool You look. You surely have to also know how to play alive and get the stage persona out of You as shining star. I love Goth because My background and roots are deep with it. And I also found about week a go this band. They were at the premier of Ghost's Rite Here Rite Now evening and giving the interview -I did see that clip about it and got Me wondering Who are the guys? And rest is history, I'm about to buy album and I'm about to see Them alive also asap.😈🕸
Thanks for sharing this. Spine is a cracking album - seems to successfully blend so much of what has gone before. I had the pleasure of seeing Myrkur live a few years ago - brilliant!
