my lil sis recently played against the green&blacks current team and let me just tell you this. those werent 13 year olds. THEY WERE FUQIN MONSTERS, like i vividly remember in the semi's (before my sis went up against them in the finals) their #7's serves were so hard that they broke the libero's thumb, needless to say they were scary.
Okay I'm not a pro but this is what I've learned from Haikyu. When the white team spiked the ball, the first touch from the navy/black team was called a "one touch" from one of the blockers. For indoor volleyball that doesn't count as a touch for the team as the ball ricocheted off the fingers of their team member. Therefore, the team proceeds to make 3 passes/contact before hitting it over on the third. However, for outdoor volleyball it's supposedly counts as a touch. I hope this helps, but if you want to be sure, look it up as I did this when I was curious about that rule.
I don't know if it's the set or first ball, but did anyone notice how almost no one is attacking? or spiking I mean, they're really tall, so they should be able to jump just as high, and give power to their spikes.
@@coffeelatte7760 I hope 😊 I am not going to criticize because I play almost like this, but at least I move a lot (libero) and I spike (I just don't jumppp I hope one day to jump high+ spike). I really do my best, these girls just seem to be afraid to lose so they don't intent something too risky like spiking strongly (it might get in the net ?). They lack of confidence
0:18 i really feel like that the number 9 could have gone under that ball to be able to set it way better than an underhand bump. reason why im saying this is because if you have the chance to set with your hands, it would be a lot easier since you are control where the ball goes rather then just bumping it and hoping that you aim it to a certain place where your teammates could spike it. There was so much time for the her to reposition herself under the ball instead of again bumping it.
Bruv- you wanna talk the most absolute perfect kick save? 2019 olympics Japan vs USA manz did a whole perfect set with his kick save for the pin hitter. It was amazing, but this is amazing too cause Im uncoordinated with my feet and can’t do kick saves…
@@lexijs have u ever played volleyball?I play casually with my friends and we still manage to make better plays. That's why I said it has nothing special. Also u dont know about everyone. It might be a fantastic play for you but not for many others. I have also seen other people's comments go in these lines. And even if they didn't that wouldn't make a difference.
The weren’t necessarily perfect sets. They were in between the middle and outside and sometimes it’s confusing of who’s supposed to get it; especially because of the lower level they are playing at. But I will say for higher level that is a good set.
The sets weren’t pushed far out enough, usually the outside is already off and outside of the court to take a set that is about a foot in from the antenna, it’s honestly really hard to adjust to a set that is that far in and I know this from experience 😅 (it’s also super confusing since the middle could possibly hit it also)
This must be club ball and I bet those girls are in 8th grade or so. For their age they are very good. I'm almost sure they are young because they are playing a simple 6-0 offense. Even a bad HS team will attempt to play a 6-2 or a 5-1. (Edit... you can see in the description that they are 13)
Well they are only 13/14 and for that they do a really good Job. At least the setter has something to pratice which is not Bad at all. I am a Co-Trainer of u14/15 and they are not much Vetter then this with 1 or 2 exeptions
It seems that way because you don't play much volleyball. Strong side hitters are always heavily involved. Once they rotate it will be someone else who is doing more than the others.

@@Iffy50 it can also be called toss, in volleyball toss is the lifting or throwing of the ball before someone makes contact with it. Not many people use the word though
