It sucks what happened with the lost prophets. So many of their songs were so good. The other band members didn’t deserve what happened and Ian is to blame for such a good band falling apart. Glad to see that the others are doing better.
Inserting the picture of someone playing the violin right when it kicks in the final recorded version of the song was a brilliant idea. Props to whoever did that.
i love ALL of Geoff's stuff and have been a fan of Thursday alone since i was 7, hearing Full Collapse for the first time. I had NO idea Geoff formed this band in 2014 with LOSTPROPHETS members nonetheless. I've loved lostprophets for a fat minute too. But I distinctly remember having an audio recording on my mp3 player of a 10 or so year old me, singing War All The Time SO HORRIBLY OFF KEY, and that memory is enough to make me feel embarrassed, lol. But this. THIS. is INCREDIBLE. I couldnt have asked Geoff to go ANY other direction and been THIS satisfied. BEAUTIFUL work, man. Keep it up, you, and your music have genuinely kept me alive COUNTLESS times. And I dedicated Autumn Leaves Revisited to my father and grandfather after my grandfather passed. I will ALWAYS jam ALL of Geoff Rickley's music for my entire life. (ramble because sleep deprived and half to kill the rest of this thc concentrate before my flight back to an illegal state)
More mature than Lost Prophets and alot more shady. A shame the band never took off with this as this is quite radio friendly and accessible. Should have been massive with the untimely destruction of Lost Prophets.
I'm sure they'd appreciate not being compared to their previous band name. Especially under the disgusting circumstances of that former member that should remain nameless!!
I think the rest of members can continue doing music by their own, Jamie and Stuart can encharge of the vocals, think that will be great. I believe this is good but don't have their essence with this vocalist although he sings very well. It's my respectfull opinion
I've never listened to No Devotion before, tho, I really liked LP, and all I can say is that this is really good stuff. I'm glad the rest of the guys could move on.
