I’ve been dying to get my hands on one, but I don’t know about the price at the moment! I may build an homage in the mean time until I’m ready to buy the real deal!
Rewatched the movie and the knife you own (altough it's a nice one) is clearly not the same knife Bond used in tomorrow never dies. He used a Gerber Mark 1.
Just tried it out today, wanted to compare that with my philips 7000 series 6 y old model. Honestly, still sharp 20y later, has been used daily by my dad and he absolutely loves it, I can see why, it's old-school vibes, yet at the time a revolutionary digital display, still exiting and competitive if not better with new generations, much like good bond movie. But for real, it's a powerhouse, bought in 2002, used daily, battery still lasts and hopefully the unit lasts a lifetime, it was marketed as such too I believe.
Hi, I bought the 3D printed piece from Shapeways. Then I hand painted the screen and details. It looks OK from a distance but doesn't hold up to close inspection. 😄👍🍸🇬🇧
