If I cried as a teenager to this you can’t imagine me @ 38 with my 1st child/adorable daughter 😍 god is so good. This song embody the black I cherish forever and always 🤞🏾💪🏾💯

Ya I saw it cause they blocked my Love Is On The Way Headbangers Ball version from 91 and my homie dm me telling me that Rhino all of sudden uploading they're music but Matt Kramer shared my Hostile Youth video on his personal Facebook an saw the others.
I think I was a about 16 yo when the cover by ultimate kaos came out. It sounded familar, but before there was YT I wouldn’t find out that I had heard this original as a smaler kid. Love the groove of this
Brit here. I was visiting a mate in Chicago for a few weeks. Met a gorgeous brunette in the pub. By the time i was flying back, we were in love. It was summer. By the winter i quit my crappy job and flew back. This song was big and i'll never forget it. After a few months, i was dumped and heartbroken but it doesn't matter. This song transcends all the baggage and pain and takes me back to my summer of love. 😊 59 now. It all seems so long ago. I'll always love this song. ❤
This song made an impression as a young teenager in the 90s. I was 13 when this came out. It was one of my first exposures to samples being used as a main element of a song, which I've been drawn to ever since. This song has been in my head since then, even though I don't remember hearing it since that first time. I haven't found this song until I heard it in a grocery store of all places so looked it up here. Teenage me in the 90s, I am now listening to this on September 15 2024.
Anyone else miss moments like this in the 90s? I remember back when seattle was a cool place to go fuckin, fancy. Fun even, like a circus filled with museums and artshows teenagers can sneak in if they look old and high-class enough in order to get a complimentary glass of white whine spritzer and concert halls and comfy pubs and not having to worry about stepping in human waste at any particular point ... Just walk along the beach, eventually you find people playing music on the street, men throwing fish, a magic shop next to a comic book shop, a place you can buy special candy from japan, a place next door you can buy (tobacco) bongs, and spore prints if you knew how to ask. and fucking public bathrooms because people should be allowed to have a shit if they need to, yaknow, so your children don't have to witness a grown man literally dropping his pants and shitting on the sidewalk and walking off without wiping because that's just how it is. Remember? 'hey starbucks, can I order a small hot chocolate and use your bathroom?' "Sure. There's no key. We'll have your drink in a sec, the lines kinda busy right now." 'No rush, I have a book.' Seattles fentanyl problem is bleeding from the docks into bremerton... *Sigh* We'll hear about it come spring next year. Yaknow, after everyone acts happy for halloween through christmas and then new years and a lot of homeless people die in the streets and then we all get concerned about it after all the fun.
